"This contract is only for $3,000 a year and therefore does not require a city council vote. And let’s be honest, this is done by design. If we do nothing, this camera will quietly auto-renew after August 13th for TWO YEARS." #Marietta #CobbCounty #Flock #DeFlockCobb

Milford Michigan City Council votes UNANIMOUSLY to CANCEL one contract for 5 cameras. Vote on second contract for 10 more cameras up for renewal later this year (expected vote in August). A city council members stated: 'Flock Safety told the city they would delete data after 30 days. They walked that back and now claim a perpetual license to citizen data (even after the contract cancellation).' 'Flock also removed a line from their terms and conditions that stated 'they do not own and cannot sell citizen information'. That line is now gone.'

The Flock-o-matic! This is pretty amazing. This system detects Flock camera signals, so that when you drive by a Flock camera, the device automatically blocks your license plate. Once you're out of range, your plate visibility returns to normal. I'm almost certain this is illegal to do, so I'm not recommending you do it, but I will certainly be looking for the follow-up video so we can see how it's done - for informational purposes only, of course. 😈 Source:

🚨If you thought Austin was unaffordable…. Let Prop Q pass and watch what happens to property taxes! (This affects renters too!) ‼️This is not a 1x increase but forever! The “promises” city council is making for how the money will be spent are just “words” nothing is legally earmarked. Let’s force the City Council to audit their spending!

California hasn’t had a Republican governor in 20 years. This is the year that changes. But only if we unite. Split the vote and we lose. Consolidate and we win. One candidate. One shot. Let’s not waste it.

This is a great way to handle the Flock Camera issue. We all should use this speech at our own city council and say we have decided to join Shepard safety 😁

This person deserves shelter — but they need shelter in Stockton, not San José. This is exactly why I’ve been calling for a statewide fair share framework that mandates each city and county does their part. Our city cannot and will not solve this problem for the entire state. In fact, if this continues, we’ll be forced to do what other cities have done and ban camping outright OR we’ll be sending other jurisdictions a bill for doing their job for them. This isn’t sustainable — and the only person with the power to stop it is Governor Gavin Newsom. We can end homelessness — but only if every county and every city is required to do their fair share. 📹: KRON4 News 🔗:

Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati - "Rahul Gandhi is repeatedly insulting our Hindu religious texts. This is absolutely wrong. If he continues to do this and does not apologise, then we will run a campaign against Congress. We will urge Hindus to reject the Congress Party and never vote for it"

American shows up in a disco suit and his own homemade Flock safety camera that he made in his garage to the Lee’s Summit, Missouri City Council meeting He’s exposing how the city spent $909,000 on only 54 Flock cameras the cameras remain property of Flock. Even if the contract runs its course and they cancel, Flock will keep the cameras despite paying nearly a million dollars for them It’s true I looked into the flock contracts and they maintain all rights and ownership over the cameras, once installed the city can’t even move the location of the cameras or remove them - Flock hardware “is owned and shall remain the exclusive property of Flock.” - “Title to any Flock Hardware shall not pass to [the city].” A The city may not remove, move or take possession of the units - At the end of the term, Flock removes the cameras The city is leasing the cameras and using the software…. This sounds like one of the biggest ripoffs to taxpayers in history That’s $16,833 per camera over the 5 year contract

🚨DON'T RISK THIS! If we DEFINITELY want a CHOICE FOR CHANGE, we need to consolidate and VOTE FOR STEVE HILTON! At this point, a vote for anyone else WILL MEAN Becerra and Steyer could win the June Primary, which is a vote for the SAME corruption and chaos that we've had in California for years! This Saturday, the 4th of July, there will be the 'biggest South Asian event in Scotland' happening. This will be funded by Glasgow Life who are primarily funded by Glasgow City Council. Glasgow City Council gave Glasgow Life £84.5M funding for 2025/6. We do not want this.

Let’s be clear: the State of Texas does NOT impose a property tax. Only local governments do. By requiring a 2/3 voter approval for any tax increase, we will give Texans more control over their property taxes. This is the way.
