Yep!!! I tried a few Ridge Racer games and they were good for cornering, but it’s the ultimate wipeout controller.

We need a reboot of this design with dual analogues thrown in.

The more I think about this.. the more ideas I get for building a modern version of it. I could totally create one with hall effect sensors for measuring the center rotation. Interesting thing about this original one is that it has analog value outputs but just a single axis for the center and then multiple other axes for the buttons. Even two of the face buttons are analog.
