That one is actually pretty easy to build if you’re good at welding. Hardest part is cutting that fuel chute at perfect 45 degrees. If you buy one of these they can go upwards of $300 which is why I recommend making your own for less than $50 and some welding time (stick welding).

I can do some decent welds but I am not master welder. It’s definitely a skill worth pursuing. Especially in SHTF situations, being that guy that can do the job and save the day does have its benefits.

I actually was thinking about sticking one of those together to use in my garage when I have to do stuff out there in winter. Its not insulated but I got plenty of wood around. If my house was on a slab instead of over a basement id build one of these in the house. Thats all clay around the stove. Holds the heat for hrs. You burn the stove for a couple a day then just let the retained heat do the work.
