I have some questions about this story. One he mentioned the license plate having tickets since 2013. How is this possible when plates are generally rotated out every 5 years ? Two if this wasn’t the case how did they let the driver register a cyber truck to this plate with already a high amount of tickets? Wouldn’t the dmv stop them from registering any vehicle to the plates? How is the driver’s license not suspended ? I am going to check with a friend that dealt with DMV for 30 years and find out if this is even viable.

So the original fine amout was $38,286 for 2337 infractions. That comes out to $16.38 per ticket even before being reduced. Something is way off, theres no way NYC is handing out fines this low.
