This delightful clip, shared with me by Nagdev Pawar sir, perfectly captures the ongoing nightmare that is the Virar–Manor stretch of NH-48 as of June 2025. Once a smooth, asphalt-paved highway, it was tragically "upgraded" by NHAI to concrete. The result? A national highway that transforms into India's longest... parking lot the moment a raindrop hits the ground. This particular traffic jam stretches roughly 22 kms from Manor to Sakawar village. And how can anyine miss that glorious "newly" laid concrete surface? Remember, the NHAI did this concretization work because cement roads supposedly last longer life and warrant lower maintenance. It's been not even a year since this surface was laid. Only in India can a brand-new road be objectively worse than the old one it replaced. This asphalt road from Kerala (the NH-66) absolutely mogs this concrete clad monstrosity called the Delhi Mumbai Expressway. Ironically, both are built by the NHAI. Stop scamming Indians with shitty PQC roads. If you really want to make it using concrete, use it as a substrata and resurface it with asphalt. The Vadodara Delhi section of the expressway is asphalt anyway. The high rainfall argument doesn't hold true for the Vadodara Mumbai section as the NH66 is located in a region with higher rainfall than Mumbai. The fact that asphalt offers smoother rides is an established fact.

There was a Scorpio-N with several young men in it who had been driving recklessly for quite some time. Eventually, they hit our car. Since the impact was on my side, my husband lowered the window on my side and asked them what they were doing. At that moment, one of the boys got out of their car and reached inside from my side, trying to take out the car key. Just then, a police officer from NHAI arrived, intervened, and managed to calm the situation. That boy even apologized to me. However, since they were locals, they called more boys to the spot. As soon as we crossed the toll, the situation escalated again. When the police arrived, one boy came and stood there normally, pretending nothing had happened, and asked us what the issue was. But I recognized him he is clearly visible in the video as well. Another boy was also brought in by the NHAI officer, as he had already seen him earlier. The HC directed the State Govt to extend full cooperation to NHAI to complete the project. The AIADMK Government moved the Supreme Court. There also the NHAI rep by Thiru Wilson fought tooth and nail and no stay was granted. The HC order was not set aside but the SC directed that an expert body analyse the project and give a report on the claims of the AIADMK Gov. Meanwhile the UPA government lost the 2014 elections. Merely 5 days after the death of Selvi J Jayalalithaa, her successor Thiru OPS granted NOC for the project in Dec 2016. I was just messing around with the animation, then I noticed that the swimming animation would leave the ripple effect behind, and you can change the size of it, too And of course, you can do this even on a land surface (Imagine a scene with you standing on land, but have a water ripple effect, something like that) Also, in this video, I just learn how to use the sky environment It's really helped me a lot to find the perfect cloud and sky color And I'm really proud of what the final picture has turned into #GPOSER #GPOSERS

Let’s see what happened to all these materials after I dipped them into the magical glass-forming liquid. As you can see, the entire surface of the liquid has completely solidified. But I was still able to push the side of the container in, which means that underneath, it is still liquid. So this is not one solid block of glass. Let’s look at them one by one. First, I’m taking out the pencil. Well, no glass layer formed on this one. What you can see on it is simply the dried upper crust of the liquid. To be honest, I expected this, because this isn’t really bare wood—it’s more like wood with a plastic coating. Next is the geopolymer. The result is exactly the same. This one surprised me, because this was actually the material I was most confident would develop a deposit. But apparently not. Next comes the granite. And by now, it’s pretty easy to see that the result is the same again: nothing deposited on it. The next object is the spoon. I had absolutely no expectations for this one, and absolutely nothing is exactly what happened. There’s only the dried upper crust stuck to it, and the rest will probably just run off. But what about the egg?! A few days ago, it looked as though the egg was going to be the champion, with a massive layer of glass apparently forming on it. Well, I have some bad news: not at all. And why? I have absolutely no idea. And finally, just quickly at the end… The piece of limestone suffered exactly the same fate, and so did the peach. So, in reality, the experiment was a spectacular failure. None of these objects developed a glass layer. And in my opinion, this is exactly why it’s not worth publishing the recipe yet. Because, as you can clearly see, this time it simply didn’t work—even though, in theory, I did exactly the same thing as before. So, I wish myself happy experimenting. Once again, I’ve been given a new puzzle that I have to solve. … Meanwhile, in the container right next to it, this happened. And the recipe is exactly the same! Wow! 🤯

🐰 i worked a lot with El Guincho. I got to listen to a lot of tracks and i was really wowed by just how fresh and new this was. One of the first thoughts i had was ‘wow, you can approach a song like this?’ and i felt a lot of pressure about how to make the best use of it. so that must be why i wanted to stay close, it was a totally a different vibe, a whole new vibe. i hope to work again and have another session with the producers and songwriters that we worked with
