this dialogue and acting alone is oscar worthy imo. It was his first ever acting role but the micro expressions on Jaafar's face are those of an experienced actor!🔥

Kim Seonho is such a reliable and deeply dedicated actor. He isn’t even fluent in all those foreign languages, but he completely ate the polyglot role. Micro-expressions and eye acting have always been his strengths, and here he showcases them brilliantly.

They are one of the most beautiful pairing ever. Both of them are so pretty And can we talk about bogum’s micro expressions when he hugs her? The mixture of relief and worry. Bogum’s acting is always so delicate

This should've been one of jiwon's top acting moments, no dialogue just an expression through the eyes & doing subtle acting is harder than doing explosive or dramatic acting. Tbh when watched it i had this in my mind 'she'll be getting baeksang nomination for this scene alone'

Tom Cruise’s performance in The Last Samurai is one of the first things I bring up anytime someone ignorantly suggests that Cruise can’t act. Cruise is quietly vulnerable in this role & his physicality and dedication is impeccable. Cruise’s nonverbal acting in this film is some of the best of his career. Don’t ever question this man’s acting chops.

Oscar winners get forgotten, but legends never die. Val Kilmer gives one of the greatest performances ever in this film. Holiday saw right through Ringo, and it scared him. He knew Doc was his match. The best acting without words
