this drain guy was told they had been having some Plumming issues He rolls up expecting the standard backyard drama—maybe a stubborn grease clog or a minor backup. Instead, the homeowner’s already pacing near a dug-up section of yard, looking equal parts embarrassed and relieved that someone else is... about to deal with it. The drain guy assesses the situation, calls in the heavy artillery, and soon a backhoe is rumbling into position over the exposed line. The operator swings the bucket in, teeth biting into the earth around the pipe. With a slow, powerful lift, the backhoe starts pulling up a massive, tangled mass of tree roots that had completely invaded and choked the sewer line. The roots come up in thick, woody clumps—some still wrapped around sections of pipe like they’d been growing there for years, turning the whole system into their personal underground fortress. The drain guy directs the operator with calm instructions: “You can probably lift up now,” while the homeowner watches in stunned silence, occasionally muttering reactions in the background. This guy is using the left hand lane , which is open. There is a mile long backup and everyone is over in the right hand lane. He drives all the way up until he has to merge. Some people are saying what a jerk he is for not getting in line like everyone else, but a great many people are saying that the cars in the right lane merged into one lane too soon and that if they had used the left lane, instead of being a mile backup it would have been a half a mile backup. What’s your take? Do you think he was correct in using the left lane and merging up at the front or should he have merged right and got in line way in the back like everyone else?

We had a drain over by the dugout and we learned how to get 100% of the water on the tarp into that drain. It was a lifesaver for getting in games … because our OF did not drain good at all.

This woman lives in an HOA. The back of her yard backs up into an easement that is owned by the HOA. The trees back there are on the easement. She points out that there are fallen branches all over her neighbors yard because of the trees and there were many in her yard as well. So she and her children went and picked up all the branches and sticks in her yard and then she piled them up under the tree. She said since the tree is on the HOA easement, it’s their problem. She wants to know if she is the bad guy in all this. If it were me, I’d maintain my yard and put the branches and sticks out for the trash pickup. Do you think she is in the right and it’s the HOA’s problem? Or do you think she is wrong and is making a mountain out of a molehill and there are better hills to plant your flag on?

This man who is a landscaper said you should never build a tree coffin around a tree. He said it ends up making the tree die by restricting the roots and having too much mulch. I never knew they were called "tree coffins". I looked it up and it does say they can be very detrimental to your tree if not done correctly. The pavers can restrict root growth and the mulch shouldn't be too thick or torching the base of the tree. I have seen some pretty nice "tree coffins". I never knew they were bad for your trees. Do you have these around your trees? Did you build one a certain way that allows your tree to flourish? What about the people who cemented their pavers together and in the ground?

This guy in the back coming down the ramp into the parking garage honks his horn at the car in front of him. The car in front of him is waiting for two cars in front of himself to get into the parking garage. The guy at the front of the line is having issues with the parking ticket machine. First this guy in the back honks, then he gets out of his car and stares like that is going to change something. Then he walks over and tells the second car to move up and then he starts to walk over to the guy at the ticket machine like he’s going to hurry him along too, like he’s actually doing something to move the line along. Q: Are the contractors who did the initial work with the reflecting pool are they to blame for the current condition? Trump: No, no, we had vandalism, vandals. We have 100, and we have a I think 290, 300 foot slit right through it. Probably a box cutter or a knife of some kind or we had people lifting up the basic. it’s not a lot of damage. We’ll probably have to let the water out and re fix it. They went in there with a knife. This guy called a detailing shop and asked what their price was for detailing the inside of his car. He was told $150 so he drove down there. After seeing the car the guy at the shop said we can do the $150 detail but to really get it clean it’s going to cost $300. The car, as you can see is filthy. The owner of the car got mad at the $300 price. Honestly, I think that is a great deal. Do you think that $300 was a good deal to clean that? Think it should me more or less? NEW: 8-year-old girl drowns after getting sucked into a 1ft-wide pipe in a pool at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Houston, Texas. The girl was reported missing after her parents could not find her. Search and recovery organization Equusearch arrived and was dumbfounded about the girl's disappearance. The Houston Fire Department then inspected multiple pipes in the pool and couldn't find anything. Today, in Melbourne, Brad Battin was rolled for Jess Wilson. It happened swiftly and without warning. Like thieves in the night they rolled in, and by morning, Brad was rolled out. Why? Surely there must be a reason. Maybe it was because he is a man. A mature man, with 50 years of life experience. Maybe it was because he had held a number of real jobs. Maybe it is because he served the state as a police officer. Maybe it is because he had owned and run a business. Maybe because he never was a staffer. Maybe it was because he didn’t come from Liberal royalty in Kooyong. Maybe it was because he was opening doors in new areas, places that had not considered voting Liberal before. Or maybe it was because he didn’t go to the right schools or move in the proper circles… Maybe. It could be because he was effective as an opposition leader. He was indeed shifting the polls and government policy - particularly on the youth crime epidemic plaguing Melbourne. It could even be because he was against “the Voice”, like most of the rest of his state. Maybe because he was against the treaty, that has put the property rights of all Victorians under a cloud. It is possible it was because he is against 100% renewables. Maybe he just wasn’t doing as he was told by the backroom boys - the lobbyists, the hacks and the spivs. It might even be because he knows what a woman is. Possibly some of those things… probably all of them. Because from out here, it looks like Jess Wilson is the solution to all of those ‘problems’. Just another young, inexperienced, former staffer. Just another progressive lady, who will solve the woman problem in the Liberal party, by helping the rest of us define it. Whatever the reason, I am sure the Liberals have just stolen defeat from the jaws of Victory as the inner-city elites that run the show shake their million dollar watches, fists clenched at the voters choosing Teal. As the former Liberal strongholds leave the blue team in their droves, in pursuit of a better brand of champagne socialism, they plant a foot squarely on the throats of the socially conservative and economically aspirational. The Liberals, desperate to chase back what they have lost, install Wilson in a pathetic last-ditch effort to woo them back. Demonstrating they too are happy to put the boot into those less progressive and more aspirational. People that just want to buy a home, pay the power bill, and maybe just run their homes in peace. Labor ran away from them long ago, as they pursued the same anti-Australian, anti-aspirational policies that please the Liberal lobbyists, Teal voters, Green voters, Unions and the Liberal backroom boys. The choice has never been less clear. Go with the progressive socialist that you know, or the progressive socialist that pretends to understand the economy better. The red or the blue, it’s up to you. Or maybe this is the election where the Liberals in Victoria go the way of SA, and WA, as they get packed into a minivan and sent away. One thing is for sure, the minor party and independent vote at the Victorian election will be record breaking, because the major parties are completely absorbed in their own brilliance. Completely wrapped up in themselves, holed up in their lavish offices as the groaning public feel the pain of decades of neglect. I would urge Brad Battin to hold his head up. His treatment by the corrupt and out of touch Victorian Liberal Party is a badge of honour. They are like the robbers he spent much of his career trying to catch. Like thieves in the night they shall slink off into the thickness of the dark. What happened to him today was very ‘modern’ Liberal, but hardly very Australian. I just want Australia back.
