Wow! It's great hearing this from someone who came to Canada with the right perspective. These are the people immigration is for.

There are so many south Asians in Canada that everyone knows at least 1 or 2 personally. I get along with them really well. It's people that don't even talk to anyone outside their race that are the problem. Seems like racism might be part of the problem...

Bullshit, they segregate themselves. There's full of quadrants in calgary that are all from India. You can't even move into the community the stores and schools are strictly all their race. They've done this to themselves.

Yep. In our community (the Dutch) we (on average) showed up, didn't speak the language, worked like dogs in menial jobs, learned the lay of the land, and slowly integrated. We were just thankful for the opportunity and that it wasn't a socialist hellscape like Holland.

To be Canadian is a calm temperament, a spirit of unity, and high standard of ethic. This man understands it. I say ANYONE that understands this belongs in my country with me.

I generally agree with this man, but I'm sick of people saying it's the "South Asian" community... It's just India and Pakistan. It's always just them. "Those damn Nepalese!" - No one. Ever.
