The growth I saw was in acknowledging the hypocrisy of the church, but on her end it still sounded like victim hood and passing the buck.

- so you found the growth. “we have lived by misapplied scripture” are words that I’ve never heard the church say out loud that need to be said again and louder. that’s where my focus was here! is there MORE growth that’s needed? for sure.

Growth where exactly? She still didn’t take full accountability for what she said. She said people heard what she said wrongly and that isn’t the case. Bryant is her friend and his bias didn’t serve the conversation.

Thank you for giving her room to grow. I hate that about our culture today. We don’t give people space to be loud and wrong and then grow from it.

- the problem is often their response and their ego refusing to allow them to admit when they’ve been wrong. there have been so many moments where she could’ve course corrected and been sincere about taking accountability…I’m hoping this one sticks.
