This fight low-key impressed me

i just know that she lost just for the plot. she is Avatar Aang and Katara's second child (but for me she is number 1 forever) - i can't even imagine the level of her powers and skills. i wish we could see more of Kya combat scenes!

If zaheer had a nickel for every time a water tribe native smash him to the ground , he'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

Mind you, isn't she like 60 here? Imagine a Kya in her prime! Couldn't nobody take her, I'm sure of it!

I didn’t expect her to put up much of a fight. I was very wrong. I’d be willing to say plot armor saved zaheer here.

She was literally at her strongest when she was in water you’re telling me Katara didn’t teach her that move that she did against tagah???

Her using the water to climb out the window was PEAK!!!

Remember when Katara was fighting a master airbender and was moving and dodging LIKE an airbender?

And remembar, she is a NON-COMBATANT!

And they said Korra villains are this and that and Aang villains are shitee. But here’s Aunty Kya besting Zaheer. Even Tenzin no fall hand. Everybody but Korra fit handle Zaheer

I know a child of a master can’t be on the same level but I think katara would have handle zaheer better given she fought an airbender before

How can you watch bending in this, and watch the live action and take it seriously. It's the difference between a professional figure skater and a beginner.

No way Zaheer should have won that fight. No way.

I strongly stand by my theory that the only reason he "beats" anyone is due to lack of knowledge when it comes to fighting an Airbender, an aggressive one.
