this game is so poorly maintained that GAMEPLAY is starting to break down

Did some analysis, from his position he should 100% have been able to take the boost, I recreated the situation in freeplay and I can take the boost from his exact position. My guess would be some slight client desync which would cause the server to read his position differently.

it's a replay bug where the boosts magically respawn/get taken whenever. usually happens when you go back or foward in the replay.

the boost hadn't been taken in 10+ seconds (i made that very clear), meaning the boost was definitely there in-game

is there a chance you could send me the replay, I'm tryna pause it at a specific frame to see something

@AlexZapatos What more do you need? A player grabbed the boost at 4:56 which means it’ll respawn at 4:46 tawk ran over it at 4:45

At first I thought Bora might have grabbed it but no I don't think that's right. Tawk also seemed a little far from the boost but I don't think that would be far enough to miss it

This has happened to me so many times and I’ve learn to accept that it’s just a dice roll to get boost.

Looks to me like he was just on the edge of getting the boost or not and in reality missed boost but visually picked it up?

me and a friend noticed the same thing in the exact same scenario. He goes thru the boost and doesn't get it on his screen. Then the replay after goal showed him picking it up and still having zero

is this your replay or tawks? in the latter case it might just be server client mismatch

Tbh, it could be a replay system tweaking, but also didnt play in that lobby to see that shit happen

This happened to me and a friend in a private match, I could pick up boost just fine but whenever my friend would try to pick up any Pennie’s/big boost he would get the boost pickup animation but he would stay on zero, this games so broken now it’s not even funny lol.

That happened to me today, but it's not new, it happened to me last year

This happens to me every now and then and i don’t get the boost from a full pad and go right back to 0

I haven’t checked to see if someone else said it but it looks like he missed the boost but server thought he didn’t based on expected trajectory. He looked pretty far away from it when he picked it up tho
