Love turn based but i think the FF7’s hybrid combat system is the best change theyve ever done

I haven’t played FF7R since remake but I remember enjoying that game a lot but being slightly annoyed that when I try to use a spell in the middle of an air combo they’d stop to land first before casting lolll pissed me off

Rebirths system improved on it even more

I remember someone at square enix says they won't make a turn based FF anymore, because using that mechanic on a realistic graphics don't make sense. I'm glad they proven wrong because E33 exists..

exactlyyyyyy now hopefully they walk back in that stupid ass notion and give us a peak mainstream turn based final fantasy experience

Just finished the demo earlier after putting in 7.5 hours. Instantly made it to the top of my "next buy" list.

I’m definitely copping day one! Slow playing the demo so I don’t have to wait too long for the release 😂

I actually preferred FF7R's gameplay but I believe Final Fantasy should stick to Turn Base, It's one of its iconic gameplay

They can't do that, because they aim at casuals, and trust me, casuals HATE having to think and turn based strategy games. We have dumbed down games / locked hard mode / etc, because the video game industry stopped aiming at the "fans", and wanted a bigger piece of cake.
