It happened because #36 and others began taunting the guy kneeling in guilt over the missed the kick with his fellow teammate. It was without class, self-respect, or sportsmanship. That is what led to retaliation. You bring who you are (and what you lack) with you everywhere...

The announcer at first seemed to enjoy that a fight was breaking out only to change his tune (because he probably realized that egging on a rumble is not socially accepted).
