ollie was asked who of the veterans on the grid would be a good mentor to rookies and the host suggested carlos ollie: “i rate him very, very highly. i mean, when i was a reserve driver with ferrari and i was listening in on all the debriefs and the detail and the way he's able to describe what he feels in the car is incredible. because it's one thing feeling it and often i was finding, okay, i'm feeling the same thing as this guy or esteban, for example, but carlos was able to describe it to the engineers in a way that they could improve the car. i think that's such an important quality to have.”

We have an exclusive interview with the biggest star in the sport.’ You wanted people to stop watching the Netflix show, but you did it on IG Live in the most underwhelming way possible? It just felt like they didn’t execute it as well as they could have.

When people see you investing in good union jobs, they feel hopeful. They feel hopeful for the future, and they can say firsthand, “I’m seeing the change. I was in France, on my way to meet with politicians - and I walked in not fully understanding their political system, but I understood language, and that's mostly what they wanted. How did Robert Kennedy Jr. get as far as he did? How do you make this an issue that helps a political career instead of hurting it? I'd spent a long time as his Director of Communications working through exactly those questions, so we'll see how much of it translated. What I'd taken away from the screening the night before was still with me. France's vaccine uptake was around 85%. Poland's was 50%. The people in that room said there was no way out of the program for their kids - every child already vaccinated, and they were trying to figure out how to fight from that position. It's a different fight than what Americans have been having. We've been resisting something being forced on us. They've been living under it for years already. I kept asking myself whether that wears a movement down or makes it harder. I'm still not sure.

I probably talked about this before but the way Oda is going about black blades I think is much better and makes much sense than just handing them out to top tiers. The thing is, there is already a metric in place to make the connection. To give Mihawk a seat at that table. The fact that Yoru is a supreme grade weapon like Ace and Murakumogiri. Supreme grades are already more rare than conqueror's haki as it stands. Now if Xebec and Roger had black blades as well then there's no real way to make that distinction for Oda or to be able to make the argument that Mihawk has gone beyond what they were capable of. We would see these guys continue to get the benefit of the doubt, because even though they would be black blade users alongside Mihawk, they would still be seen as his superiors because of the era they lived in and who they shared the seas with. But the black blade the way Oda wrote it, lets us have a different conversation because it transcends eras.
