This guy took a brand‑new app to #1 overall in the App Store and 1,000,000 downloads in under 3 days. For the FIRST TIME, he breaks down exactly how he did it, and we’re posting the full, RAW conversation right here on X To be clear, this is his first and only podcast on this playbook... And a little more context: this wasn’t luck. Jibran has taken 4 different apps to #1 in the App Store, including one that did $1.5M in 3 days and outranked ChatGPT He did it with a handful of creators, zero paid ads, and a product philosophy that blew my mind Here’s the core of what he taught me: > Your product and your marketing are not two separate things; they're the same thing. > What goes viral on TikTok is product validation. > What you learn from a hit video should change your UI, your App Store screenshots, your icon He ran that loop obsessively.. For his 2025 Wrapped app, he spent hundreds of hours in Figma asking one question: > “How does this look on TikTok?” Then he tracked: 1. What users screenshotted 2. What they shared to Snapchat 3. What slide they dropped off on The result was a #1 overall app in the App Store. Above EVERYTHING. Now he’s building because he realized he was spending hours every day doom‑scrolling TikTok looking for hooks and formats that worked So he built an AI to do it for him: > You tell it your app. > It tells you what to post, what’s trending in your niche, and what’s wrong with your existing videos. We go deep on all of it in this conversation. If you run a consumer app, this is the most useful 49 minutes you’ll spend this week

THIS GUY BUILT A SCREEN RECORDER THAT MAKES YOUR DEMOS LOOK LIKE AN APPLE COMMERCIAL every founder right now has the same problem. you build something cool but your demo video looks HORRIBLE (like a janky screen recording from 2014) this tool records your screen and automatically makes it look cinematic here's what it does: > records both screen and screenshots in one app (most tools only do one) > multi-window support where each window is a separate layer you can rearrange after recording > 3D scenes, virtual backgrounds, and a simulated camera lens for cinematic shots > smooth or instant zooms, transitions, custom cursors, and auto-replaced desktop backgrounds > add and mix audio and music directly in the editor > standard 2D polish too if you don't need the 3D stuff it even gives you the option to render your recording inside a 3D macbook mockup so the final output looks like an actual apple keynote presentation if you've ever tried to make a product demo look professional, you probably know the pain. you either spend hours in premiere or after effects doing it manually, or you pay someone to do it, or you just ship an ugly screen recording and hope nobody judges your product by the video now you can just record your screen normally and it handles the polish automatically for anyone shipping a landing page, a product hunt launch, an app store listing, or a pitch deck, the demo video is usually the first thing people see and most of the time it's the weakest part of the whole launch this fixes that without needing any video editing experience

Elon Musk just told Joe Rogan every app on your phone will be dead in 5 years. Not struggling. Not declining. Dead. Musk: “You’ll get everything through AI.” Rogan asked the timeline. Musk: “5 or 6 years, something like that.” Rogan: “So 5 or 6 years, apps are like Blockbuster video.” Musk: “Pretty much.” That’s not some AI newsletter prediction. That’s the guy who owns the platform you’re reading this on telling you the entire app economy has an expiration date. Think about how your phone actually works right now. Apps trained your brain to think in boxes. One box for email. One for music. One for video. One for food. One for banking. Your entire digital life is opening and closing 30 different boxes. All day. Every day. AI doesn’t think in boxes. It thinks in intent. Musk: “Whatever you can think of or really whatever the AI can anticipate you might want, it’ll show you.” Not what you search for. Not what you tap on. What you haven’t even thought of yet. The app needed you to know what you wanted and go get it yourself. AI arrives before the thought fully forms. That’s not an upgrade to the interface. That’s the end of the interface. Musk went further. He said most of the content people consume in 5 to 6 years will be AI-generated. Music. Video. All of it. Rogan admitted AI-generated music is already his favorite. Not a prediction. Present tense. The ground already moved. Most people are still arguing about which streaming app has the better library. Every major tech company of the last 15 years was built on one assumption. That you would come to them. Download their app. Learn their layout. Give them your attention. Give them your data. AI inverts that entire model. You stop going to anything. Everything comes to you. Anticipated, filtered, delivered before you finish the sentence. The App Store doesn’t shrink. The concept of an app store stops making sense entirely. You don’t browse a shelf of tools when the tool already knows what you need. The phone isn’t dying. But the 30 icons on your home screen are the Blockbuster shelves of 2031. And right now, you’re still renting.
