What my step dad did. Buying tractors trucks at auction. Start machine warm up well Drain oil leave old filter. Fill oil with diesel. Start motor 30 seconds. Drain everything new filter let drip over night. Worked.

Lol.. It's cheaper to just get a flush before the new oil is added. But if your bored and have all kinds of extra money you could do these little tests I guess.

Oh wow it has one of those new school low quality oil filters. Anyways here is the mistake he's making, and I didn't watch the video. I stopped at the oil filter. Engine needs to be piping hot. Let it drip for 2 hours. Thank me later. My oil is spotless.

With the Ford Ranger here in Australia, the dudes who do their services at home had heaps of engines blow up. They didn’t know the oil pump is located in the sump… if you don’t refill the oil within 9-11 minutes the pump unprimed itself and gets air pockets…. Engine doesn’t like that much… 🍻🤙🏼

If this car is a diesel don’t worry about it instantly will go black because of the way the oil and diesel mix every diesel is the same

@Serenitee_Sam First mistake is having a 1/2 ton…. Triton V8… 13 mpg max. When your nuts drop, you can get a 6.7 power stroke turbo diesel. 20+ towing .

I have a 2021 western Star (dd15) with 875,760 miles and a generator (kubota) mounted on the frame with 28,234 hours. Both have clean oil when I change it, no black at all.

Oil change at 3k or 4k is a marketing ploy. Under normal conditions oil is effective for up to 7.5k. Quick lube places never let the oil drain long enough to get the sludge out, and most DIY don’t either.

Super Tech is what I use on my 2011 F150. Change it every 5k miles. I’m currently approaching 265000 miles. Not too shabby.👍🏼

After draining your oil, with the drain plug open, pour some diesel into the oil filler opening. It washes out most of the sludge

One of the best flushes you can do is simply buy 1 extra quart and pour it in with the drain plug out after you`ve drained the old oil.

I was told that you could replace the oil with diesel, turn it over, let it run just a few minutes, then dump.

My brother you are more likely to cut that small gasket installing it than you are simply leaving it where it is. The two large ones every time but if it passes visual inspection best to save your time and luck. Check out a set of picks (awes but idk how to spell it)

I don't want a 10 minute oil change, it takes 20 minutes to properly drain the old oil. I change mine every 20,000 miles but it's a proper exchange and it works. 190,000 miles.
