The life expectancy for an American today is 78.4 years. So he wants Americans to enjoy only 8 years of peace (if they’re lucky) before they die. According to my standards, I can do 43. -chest to ground -full lockout with clear pause at top -no “resting” at the top -body in good plank the whole time Start “resting” at top for >.25 sec? Set’s over. Start worming up? Set’s over. Why such strict standards? Because without them, it’s impossible to gauge progress. And this applies to most things. If I do this standard this time and then next time I let myself rest at the top as long as I want, or not touch the ground, or not fully lockout, and I get 62, did I improve? I have no idea. And does that mean you shouldn’t ever do sets where you rest at the top, or where you don’t do full chest to ground. No! But for testing/comparison purposes, it’s important to have clear standards. And I think these are the easiest to implement to a wide audience. No additional equipment needed, just touch your chest to the ground and fully lockout. Very clear bottom and top of the movement, no ambiguous “arms at parallel” or “4 inches off the ground.” Simple and repeatable. Repost or comment with a video (side view) of your results. I don’t care how many you do, I just wanna see great reps!

Timing is everything, isn’t it? And sometimes being in the right place at the right time feels well, timely, or even predetermined. With wildlife photography, it’s all about being in the right place at the right time. The more you know about your subject, the better because it increases your chances of being where you need to be when you need to be there. There is also an element of just letting go and taking what is given to you. It’s always best to have no expectations at all when it comes to wildlife. On this morning, everything did fall perfectly into place, and I was able to capture this dreamy scene of a beautiful Dalmatian pelican and its reflection on smooth water as it came in for a landing. Oh yeah, the glorious snow-capped mountains in the back were definitely a treat too. The days prior to this, that mountain range was hidden by clouds. I didn’t even know it was there. 🤪

Hi GoBid as a proudly South African company we at View4You disagree with the fact that people cannot run diagnostics, check the car to see if it starts check for any warning lights, check fluids on your cars. We understand moving them is not doable like all other auctions. Our founder recently reached out to your ambassador mumbo repairs and asked Him why your cars are not auctioned with a report stating the truth about the car as we have come across cases of possible mileage fraud and a case of a cloned car at GoBid. The response we received was that it would be difficult as the quantities are large and it would be costly. He also stated these cars are from various banks insurers etc. He further stated that GoBid will allow us to do our own inspections before we bid. His answers are acceptable and understandable. However, they do depict or show a lack of or no interest in protecting the consumer. Now today we were stopped from running a diagnostic, we were not allowed to get the car started and we were also not allowed to check the fluids. How can people bid confidently with these limitations? Now our humble request is, please permit us to run our checks thoroughly to ensure we know what we are bidding on. All other auctions permit such and it’s only you who does not allow it. A diagnostic test is crucial in the process of practicing due diligence, if you do not want us to run a diagnostic, can you please run it and place the report on the windscreen of your cars that can be diagnosed? This cost the amount of a used car. When you are young, you are broke. That’s like rolling up to a 25-year-old and saying, “Why don’t you buy a house?” How can you even tell someone or chastise someone about the timing in which they do this when health insurance doesn’t even cover it? It’s not even a financial option for people at a younger age. I’m doing this at 36 because I can afford it, and I have saved for it, and my biology is compatible with it, and I want to. So be mad.
