This guy used OpenAI Dots to build a Quant Binary Arbitrage system and it made $1,135 a day on Polymarket The result is already +$95,340 PnL in 84 days with about $289 per market traded, repeating the same setup 9 times every hour across BTC "Up or Down" markets...

Once again, I’m convinced that AI agent systems are the future

That kind of consistent PnL is impressive. It shows how AI setups can really unlock those patterns in the market. Hope others take note and explore these methods too.

The fee check is what separates real arbitrage from a price gap that only exists on screen

I gave Claude Opus 5 full access to my laptop and turned on bypass permission mode. Asked him tuild me a Polymarket arbitrage bot. With no complicated strategy. Just this: Only open a trade when YES + NO < $1. I put $100 into the account and let it run. 2 hours: +$78.40 5 hours: +$479 Current balance: $1,791.30 in just 24 hours. Total Claude usage: roughly 7.5M tokens. But here's the part I find interesting: The bot doesn't care if Bitcoin goes up or down. It cares when the market prices both outcomes incorrectly. A BTC Up/Down market has two contracts: YES or NO At settlement, exactly one pays $1. The other pays $0. So buying both should cost $1. But during fast market moves, the two orderbooks can temporarily drift apart. For example: YES = $0.48, NO = $0.49 Combined = $0.97 The bot buys both. You're paying 97 cents for a position that settles to $1. That's a 3-cent gross spread without needing to predict BTC direction. And this isn't some complicated quant strategy. It's basic arbitrage. The difficult part is capturing it. These gaps can disappear almost instantly. A few cents of edge can also disappear after fees, slippage, or a bad fill. So the bot doesn't blindly buy every time the equation looks good. It checks the available liquidity, estimates the actual executable price, accounts for costs, and only fires when the remaining edge is large enough. It also has to handle the ugly scenario: One leg fills. The other doesn't. That's where a theoretical arbitrage can turn into a very real directional position. This is why I care much more about execution than adding another indicator. A human can find one opportunity. A bot can monitor hundreds of markets continuously. A human needs to click. The bot can react immediately. The strategy itself is almost boring. That's exactly why I like it. The interesting part is turning a simple mathematical rule into software that can actually execute it reliably. I shared the exact build process and prompts in my last article. Leaving it below if you want to build your own. The future of trading might just be better execution. Think bout that...

This guy built an HFT algorithm on Polymarket with an average trade size of $34.90 Result: +$129,827 Nearly 99% of its volume comes from 5 minute BTC Up/Down markets, where it combines asynchronous pairing, MERGE, and a directional residual: 1. Accumulates both sides of the same market It bought both Up and Down in 79.6% of markets. The median gap between its first purchases of of the two outcomes is 8 seconds It uses price movements within each market to buy both sides at different times and prices 2. Frees up capital through MERGE It merges an equal number of shares from each side of the market For example: 100 Up + 80 Down 80 Up + 80 Down -> MERGE -> $80 If those matched pairs cost less than $1 each, the difference becomes a structural edge regardless of how the market resolves MERGE immediately frees up capital so it can be used again 3. Holds unpaired inventory until resolution In the example above, 20 Up shares remain after the MERGE This portion is unhedged and acts as a directional residual Its final pnl therefore depends on the edge from matched pairs, how efficiently it reuses capital, and the performance of its directional residual Its Polymarket account: flippingsharks Stats: > Trades per active hour: 73.18 > Average trade size: $34.90 > Win rate: 50.33% The bot’s main edge comes from a BUY -> pairing -> MERGE cycle: merging matched inventory frees up capital and locks in the edge on pairs bought for less than $1, while the unpaired portion stays directional until resolution

This trader built a bot with Claude Fable 5 and made $96,000 on Polymarket. Average trade size: $3. The bot trades crypto Up/Down markets using a hybrid strategy that combines two-sided market making, arbitrage, and directional trading. The strategy has 5 steps: 1. Monitors multiple crypto markets continuously The bot tracks BTC, ETH, and SOL price action in real-time across different time windows. 2. Calculates its own fair probability for Up and Down No reliance on Polymarket prices. The bot builds its own model and compares it to the order book. 3. Places orders at prices that keep the combined cost of Up + Down below $1 This is the arbitrage edge. If Up costs 0.52 and Down costs 0.49, total is 1.01. The bot waits. When total drops below 1.00, it enters. 4. Manages the unhedged portion of the position After capturing arbitrage, the bot actively manages remaining exposure instead of holding passively. 5. Keeps directional exposure when its model identifies one outcome as undervalued When the bot sees clear mispricing, it leans into the undervalued side and holds until the edge closes. The entire edge is repeating small wins thousands of times. With an average trade size of $3, the bot captures micro-edges that manual traders ignore. No emotions. No hesitation. Just calculated entries repeated at scale until they compound into serious profit. Most people try to make big bets and predict major moves. This system just identifies tiny mispricings, enters with $3 average positions, and repeats the process until it grows the account. $96K profit built on thousands of $3 trades. The system runs autonomous: → Claude Fable 5 handles 5-step decision logic → Monitors multiple crypto markets 24/7 → Calculates fair probability independent of Polymarket prices → Enters when combined Up + Down cost drops below $1 → Manages unhedged positions actively → Holds directional exposure when model sees clear edge No manual trading. No guessing. Just finding micro-edges and exploiting them thousands of times. 💡 I'm sharing the complete Claude Fable 5 prompt and 5-step hybrid trading workflow. Free for 24 hours.
