Incredible piloting skills by John Armstrong to hold that chopper in place in a dangerous situation. Bravery of the Police officer Ben Parfitt to hop out onto the car roof in a raging flood. Both awarded a Chief Ministers medal for bravery.

A Cessna 150H collided with a Pennsylvania State Police Bell 407GX helicopter at Carlisle Airport on Wednesday. The helicopter was conducting a routine training exercise and had landed on the runway. The Cessna was landing after the helicopter and struck it from the rear. The pilot of the Cessna suffered fatal injuries. Corporal Bryce Corman was able to push out a window of the helicopter and assist Trooper Jason Mills, who had more severe injuries. A spokesperson with the FAA initially claimed that a Cessna 150 airplane and a Bell 407 helicopter collided midair near the Carlisle Airport in the 200 block of Petersburg Road around 7 p.m. The NTSB said the wreckage will be documented and moved to a secure facility for further examination.
