This was my favorite activity in gym class.

They squeezed in one final group hug under the rainbow before life splits everyone up. That parachute never fails to make the whole room feel like home again. These grads knew exactly what they were doing.

I remember doing that. I also remember one person sat directly in the middle, and everyone else would slowly walk in a circle until the parachute was almost completely rolled up, then we'd all pull as hard as we could. They would spin fast as fuck.

I remember playing a little shark game where kids would be holding the parachute while kids under it would try to drag kids in and kids outside would try to save them.

not particularly. you probably wont see most of those people ever again except maybe social media. thats what happens after high school. you all go off and live your own lives and do your own things. I still text my bestie all the time from kindergarten to graduation, but we rarely see each other because we both have careers and she has a family now. She’s the only one I still talk to. You realize all these “friends” you had weren’t really your friends and just talked to you because you were in the same class and wanted to fight boredom. Sad, but very true. You very rarely see anyone still friends passed a few years out of school.

Clinging to your childhood with every fiber of your being has caused an entire generation of Disney Adults, self-imprisoned people who use "Adult money" to dive deep into debt for baubles, trinkets, and wasted experiences for the childhood they refuse to give up.
