the PROBLEM is... to find a woman you can trust enough is like finding a needle in a haystack.

The Bible says that a noble wife is rare so I agree. Most men are choosing their wives out of their flesh.

story of my life with EVERY girl I've chosen. I'm stable. I make good money. Good father. Have a good family. The ulterior motive is they want me to become their "rock." (aka fix them) I can't catch myself on fire to keep them warm anymore. Looking in church now but slim pickins

Get to the root of why you feel like you have to save somebody. You probably have an unstable attachment style that stems from childhood. Just a guess. Take it to the Lord in prayer. Heal your wounds and your desires will change. 🙏🏼

I don't feel like I need to. I'm learning to have a stronger boundary and leave sooner vs "trying to fix"

@itsmorganariel So you both just proved the point why you def need a prenup. Maybe 100 years ago.... but we don't live in that time anymore sadly.

@itsmorganariel I would absolutely get a prenup

That’s absolutely not Christian, it is sentimental slop that would essentially guarantee the destruction of the marriage. The idea that a marriage is stronger because a man lives with a knife to his throat that the woman holds is rooted in this feminist worship of female as if she is sinless. The reality is women initiate the vast majority of divorces, they are almost never for any significant reason, and men are crushed and destroyed alongside their children in the process. This emotional slop is a diabolic lie. Any man who his fiancé or girlfriend shared this video with him, should immediately end the relationship and never look back.

The man is willing to call the legal document with a signature silly and pointless, yet women are not. Double standard. Modern marriage shouldn't involve any legal documents.

Divorce should only happen in the case of infidelity. And the person who should get very little from the divorce is the cheater.

Only one prenup makes sense. Single clause: Whoever brakes their vowels forfeits EVERYTHING.

Yo this man will end up divorced and lose everything, hope he found a rare women, cuz 60-80%are terrible, I pray he found a good one

Nope. If you’re a guy with a high net worth, as long as no-fault divorces are legal, make her sign the prenup. The path to financial disaster is paved with good intention. On divorces women are the ones to initiate it ~70 percent of the time. Let that sink in.

You are almost dead wrong on this one, Morgan. Almost, because some of these prenups have been invalidated in "family" court. Other than that, Christian women will still "woman" on a man and screw him over royally if something better comes along.

Prenups only came about because of No Fault Divorces of the 1960s, signed into law by Reagan. He wasn't the patron Saint of the Right everyone believes.

No. This is complete nonsense. Prenups are biblical. In Jewish marriages during Jesus’ day every Jewish marriage had a prenup in place called a Ketubah. If Jesus had an issue with these He would’ve said something. Don’t let this modern day feminist Christianity infect your mind. If you’re a man with significant assets GET A PRENUP.

How about get married through the church instead of letting the government get involved? As in don’t sign any legal documents for marriage in court? Or would women not like that? 😂

UNPOPULAR OPINION 🚨: If your marriage has a prenup it ain’t a real marriage.

The sad part is we do NOT live in a Christian world, thus this perspective, albeit beautiful, is moot. Things should be viewed through the lens of "she can decide on a whim to divorce and take half your stuff", because that is the world we live in. Proof? The 5 richest women in the world are the best proof.

A prenup is how you show her she’s safe. No prenup means it’s in the government’s hands. IT doesn’t mean “I’m keeping all until money and you get nothing.”

Фото профиля Chito

Signing a prenup does not mean a woman leaves with nothing… it’s just a decision on what the split looks like IF you divorce. If not, the state will do it for you.

I know I'm not going to divorce a wife on a whim. But I don't know that she's not going to throw a tantrum, melt-down, and divorce me on a whim. If she wants to leave me, she can leave me, but she's leaving with her personal possessions, not millions of dollars in real estate that took my years to accumulate, not millions of dollars in stock options and equity interests she didn't earn. She wasn't there when I was studying 800 hours for my first bar exam or when I was meeting corporate executives and moving up.

I personally do not care about signing a prenup. Granted I would have it looked over to ensure that I was not agreeing to give up my rights in any way or take on his debt, etc. But if it does end, I am fine with leaving with what I came with and if he is fine with leaving me nothing, that is for him to live with, not me.

If the document is silly and pointless why can't she sign it? If a man has a business worth $200,000,000 and he expects it to grow to $2,000,000,000 in the next 10 years, why can't the wife sign a document, "I have no claim to any increase in equity in his pre-marital assets, if the marriage ends I get a one-time payment of two million dollars so long as I didn't commit infidelity." Why does she feel entitled to 50% of the $1.8 billion equity increase in a business that he founded before he met her?

Always make the ask: even if you end up deciding not to move forward, just asking the question can tell you a lot by how s/he responds. Let’s be real: it’s not the 1700s anymore. Life is more complex, and men (and in more rare circumstances, women) have every right to protect themselves. For the guys out there, remember: a prenup can say whatever you both agree to. It doesn’t mean she gets nothing. And by law, child support can’t be included in a prenup anyway, so taking care of your kids isn’t affected. Think of a prenup like car insurance: you hope to never need it, but it’s smart to have just in case. It simply provides clarity and minimizes conflict in what’s already an emotional situation. It’s always better to make plans when things are good, not when they’re falling apart. And honestly, if you think a prenup is just a piece of paper, so is a marriage certificate. Both were created by the state.

Super dumb perspective, because most prenups aren't written to leave the woman completely high and dry. But the perspective totally ignores the reality that men like Dak Prescott have to deal with.

I think this is in the grey area. You gotta know your girl. I just think if you are a famous or even very rich you need to get that because girls are gold diggers and you can’t trust them just because we have seen this pattern. Especially athletes and celebrities. If I were rich and not famous I would meet a girl and date her for awhile while trying to hide how rich I am for as long as you can before you can figure out if she is loyal. Also guys are bad too, rich very rich guys tend to cheat more since they have all the power and can find another gold digger

Prenup is two people writing their own contract versus two people signing an unconscionable one written by the government. Either way you’re agreeing to how things go down should you get a divorce. The fact is, most people can’t go through the process because they’re immature children who grew up on Disney movies.

this ignorant mentality, not facing reality of today’s world and culture is exactly why Christians are getting killed and screwed over all over the world. Ofcourse every relationship is different but most should not be treated with such gullible mentality

Фото профиля Sooj

This has always been such a ridiculous thing to argue about. EVERYONE gets a prenup, whether you like it or not. It's up to you whether you want to accept the state's version of a prenup, or craft your own

Фото профиля Derek S

First, most prenups simply protect assets the people had PRIOR to the marriage. Not anything gained WHILE married. That prevents a woman from marrying someone worth 10 mil. Cheating on him immediately. Then walking away with half the shit he made PRIOR to her coming into the pic

Lol, regardless of political leanings, women believe only in what is to their direct benefit. Feminism using faith as a guise.

If a man worth $100 million offers a prenup to a woman, "if the marriage ends at any time in the next 10 years, as long as it wasn't infidelity related, the woman gets $1 million. If it ends in a period between 10 years and 20 years, the woman gets $2 million. If it ends longer than 20 years, she gets $3 million" if she insists, "I'm not safe, I need fifty percent of your increase in net worth from during the marriage" it begs the question, why doesn't a woman who came into a marriage with zero, feel safe with a $1-$3 million windfall?
