This is a treasure.

@elonmusk Who did Tolkien think was the enemy of mankind? Was it Jews?

True story.

This is still my favorite edition, published as Tolkien apparently originally intended (six books plus index/appendices).

I have no idea how much this wonderfully talented young lady would ask for doing commissioned work like that(if she does), but whatever it may be, it's absolutely worth every single penny and then some.

Lit af! 🔥⚔️🔥

FIRE 🔥

One might even call it… precious. 💍

Awesome 👏

The woman illustrating is a treasure.

Have you thought about joining the Wizard Gang perhaps?

@elonmusk Lord of the Rings is one of my favorite movies

Man, I wish I had one of those books. I have seen videos of her doing a lot, and she is so professional. Kudos to her

@elonmusk You put a movie on a book…

This is the only envy I have ever felt, which is for people who have the ability to express their inner thoughts with this exquisite level of ability. I just can't imagine being able to visualize such a picture in my head, and then have some form of outlet, written word or art, that allows you to share precisely that with others. I just can't imagine it. This was beautiful, a treasure.

Anyone else just find that the music in LOTR’s to just drip like honey to the ears!

That's art for you

Way cool👌

@elonmusk Real art

Beautiful work.

Too pretty to read, I’d have to hold onto my old one.

😎 so awesome

@elonmusk So beautiful 😍

@elonmusk Wow. Beautiful.

Wow

@elonmusk V2 is doing like on old books. When you shear them, a picture appear. The picture is not drawn on the side like here, but on the right margins of each page. When the book is closed, the image is invisible.
