Congrats, dear Doctor. Just one question: As far as I can anticipate, it is more likely to develop high transmitral gradient than residual regurgitation (in addition to LVOTO). What was the mean gradient after the procedure in this study before hospital discharge (not in the OR)?

This is truly a historic day for cooperation between Ukraine and Sweden. Today, there is a new support package from Sweden, and this support opens up a new level for us in saving the lives of our people – in protecting our cities and communities. This package, worth $2.7 billion, includes various elements to make us stronger. In particular, it includes funding for drone production – almost $400 million. But most importantly – the Gripens. Swedish fighter jets that will definitely strengthen our air fleet and our air defense. More than $2 billion in support from this package is specifically for the aircraft. We expect to receive the first capabilities – the first Gripens – within the next ten months. For our part, we will do everything possible to make it happen. Importantly, these aircraft will come with the weapons package, which will also help protect us against Russian guided aerial bombs. While patients wait years for surgery and months to see a specialist, Wes Streeting and Keir Starmer are threatening to cut the number of NHS specialist doctor training jobs. Most people don’t realise this, but doctors can’t just become Consultants, Surgeons or GPs on their own. They have to get a speciality training job first. These jobs are controlled and capped by the Government. So when the Government talks about cutting speciality training jobs, what they are really talking about is cutting the number of future specialist doctors in this country. At a time when the NHS already doesn’t have enough doctors. At a time when waiting lists are in the millions. At a time when patients are waiting months just to see a specialist and years for operations. Cutting the number of specialist training jobs will not fix the NHS. It will make waiting lists longer. It will make it harder to see a doctor. It will make the NHS worse for patients. Threatening to reduce the number of future doctors while patients are already struggling to access care is not just a deliberate workforce policy decision. It is a direct threat to the NHS and to the public who rely on it, coming from a ‘Labour’ Government.

We are defending Ukraine, our independence, our future – and in doing so, we in Ukraine are defending our Europe. A Europe of which Ukraine has been and will remain a part. From the first days of the full-scale war until today, Europe has stood with Ukraine. And this is not charity – it is a choice made by Europeans: to stand on the same side as the brave and the strong – the Ukrainians who are fighting today for peace and true protection against tyranny, not only for themselves, but for the entire continent. THIS IS MORE THAN A VET CLINIC. IT IS HOPE. Following an incredible donation from our patron, Ricky Gervais , after his Mortality tour, we knew we had an opportunity to create something truly life-changing for animals in Romania. So we dreamed big. Over the summer, our team travelled to Bucharest to help paint and prepare what will become our new community veterinary clinic. Today, that dream is becoming a reality. Inside, there will be six surgery tables, allowing us to carry out vital neutering campaigns on a scale we have never been able to achieve before. There will also be dedicated rooms for veterinary treatment, recovery and care. But behind every table, every room and every operation is a life. A dog who might otherwise face a lifetime of unwanted litters. A cat who desperately needs treatment but whose owner cannot afford it. A stray animal living on the streets with nowhere else to turn. A family who loves their pet but simply cannot afford the veterinary care they need. These are the lives this clinic is being built for. Our vision is to create a place where no animal is left suffering simply because their family has no money, and no stray animal is left without a chance of receiving the care they need. It will also become a place of learning, giving veterinary students the opportunity to gain practical experience and become part of a new generation committed to animal welfare. Our veterinary clinic in Bucharest will be a place where compassion, education and life-saving veterinary care come together. And since we filmed this video, the transformation has continued at an incredible pace. The clinic has already moved forward significantly, and we are now preparing for our opening.
