Today marks three years of the ongoing Manipur conflict. Yet, people are still waiting for justice. This conflict has been fueled by external forces and the failure of our own leadership—leaders who have remained silent, indifferent, and unresponsive. It is the innocent people who continue to pay the price for this failure. Manipur stands today as a painful reminder of how we, as a nation, have fallen short. But even in this darkness, we must not lose hope. The voices of the people will rise, justice will prevail, and a stronger, united Manipur will emerge.

Breakthrough Update: Today, Vertex announced that they are beginning their Phase 3, or pivotal trial for VX-880, a stem cell-derived islet therapy. A pivotal trial gathers the data required for an FDA submission. This therapy is for people with type 1 diabetes (T1D) and hypoglycemia unawareness and severe hypoglycemic episodes. Today, 390 people are back home – both military and civilians. Tomorrow and the day after – the next stages will follow. The formula is “a thousand for a thousand.” What matters most is that Ukraine is bringing its people home. I thank everyone around the world who is helping. And just as we succeed in this, we must succeed in everything else. A ceasefire is needed. Diplomatic steps toward a real peace are needed. A new and effective security architecture is needed. We are bringing our partners together to make this happen. It is clearly time to increase the pressure on Russia, to achieve not just one result, but everything that is necessary. When Russia takes a whole week just to come up with a so-called “memorandum” as their response to calls for a ceasefire – this is nothing but mockery of the entire world. So much time wasted. Every day of this war costs lives. Of course, in Russia, lives don’t count. But the world must count them. New sanctions against Russia are needed. I thank everyone who is advocating for this.

This is truly a historic day for cooperation between Ukraine and Sweden. Today, there is a new support package from Sweden, and this support opens up a new level for us in saving the lives of our people – in protecting our cities and communities. This package, worth $2.7 billion, includes various elements to make us stronger. In particular, it includes funding for drone production – almost $400 million. But most importantly – the Gripens. Swedish fighter jets that will definitely strengthen our air fleet and our air defense. More than $2 billion in support from this package is specifically for the aircraft. We expect to receive the first capabilities – the first Gripens – within the next ten months. For our part, we will do everything possible to make it happen. Importantly, these aircraft will come with the weapons package, which will also help protect us against Russian guided aerial bombs. We are talking a squadron of Gripens for Ukraine, and it is extremely significant support for us. While patients wait years for surgery and months to see a specialist, Wes Streeting and Keir Starmer are threatening to cut the number of NHS specialist doctor training jobs. Most people don’t realise this, but doctors can’t just become Consultants, Surgeons or GPs on their own. They have to get a speciality training job first. These jobs are controlled and capped by the Government. So when the Government talks about cutting speciality training jobs, what they are really talking about is cutting the number of future specialist doctors in this country. At a time when the NHS already doesn’t have enough doctors. At a time when waiting lists are in the millions. At a time when patients are waiting months just to see a specialist and years for operations. Cutting the number of specialist training jobs will not fix the NHS. It will make waiting lists longer. It will make it harder to see a doctor. It will make the NHS worse for patients. Threatening to reduce the number of future doctors while patients are already struggling to access care is not just a deliberate workforce policy decision. It is a direct threat to the NHS and to the public who rely on it, coming from a ‘Labour’ Government.

We are defending Ukraine, our independence, our future – and in doing so, we in Ukraine are defending our Europe. A Europe of which Ukraine has been and will remain a part. From the first days of the full-scale war until today, Europe has stood with Ukraine. And this is not charity – it is a choice made by Europeans: to stand on the same side as the brave and the strong – the Ukrainians who are fighting today for peace and true protection against tyranny, not only for themselves, but for the entire continent. And we will inevitably defend our state, our people, and our right to freely choose our future – a future in Europe. Glory to Ukraine!

And guess what? The treatment will not be authorized” “They're getting more creative about how to deny your claims or just not authorize your treatment at all.
