If FIFA can pay to have beautiful grass surfaces at NFL stadiums that use artificial turf, why can't NFL owners implement grass fields for their own players and teams? What i’ve never understood about this: NFL owners are paying a lot of these players millions of dollars. They are massive investments who make your team better. When good players play, that increases your chances of winning, When you win, you make more money. When they’re hurt, you’re paying a lot of money for players to not play and your team is worse off. He even talks about younger players who aren’t breaking through requesting trades. This is only going to happen more because it’s so common at younger levels. Not playing enough in college? Transfer. Not playing enough in juniors? Try a new team or league. Not playing enough in prep or high school? Switch schools. Not playing enough for your 14U-18U club team? Find another. Players now grow up feeling empowered to do what’s best for them. It’s not like that just ends when they get to the NHL.
