Wonder what stops Ministry of Railways Central Railway DRM Mumbai CR to clear these illegal structures beside the railway tracks between Vadala Road & GTB, some of them are between tracks, under the bridge & few taller than the Rail bridge itself posing a safety hazard. If Western Railway can do it at #Bandra East, why can't you recliam it. The stink is nauseating as one travels this section.

At Mira-Bhayandar Railway Station, following a dispute over a minor issue, a burqa-clad woman identified as Rukhsar Abdul Rashid Shaikh and other 3 muslim women allegedly grabbed an elderly Hindu woman's throat, assaulted her, and attempted to push her out of the train. When the elderly woman approached RPF INDIA police, it is alleged that the authorities only registered an NC (Non-Cognizable Complaint) and avoided filing a formal case. It is further alleged that special leniency was shown towards the accused. This viral “snake prank” video is reportedly from Mathura Railway Station where a youth was seen dragging a snake-like object tied to a rope behind him, creating panic among passengers. Unauthorised hawking inside trains or railway premises comes under Section 144 of Railways Act, 1989 and the punishment is ₹2000 but no where it says Police authorities can throw the seized material in the tracks and make it dirty. Such a sad thing to see.

The railway socket clearly states that it is meant only for charging mobile phones and laptops, yet she connected a 1500-watt electric kettle to it, endangering everyone’s safety on board.
