This is a WhatsApp joke that the Punjab CM has repeated in several interviews. This is not the statement of a serious CM, but of a stand-up comedian. PM never made this statement about ISRO. But the bigger question is: why didn’t Manak Gupta correct him? Instead, he was... show more

It turns out this man is, in fact, not a comedian, but a serious politician and the new Lord Mayor of Kampala, Uganda

There is something BIG coming up in UP politics and this statement of deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya is actually a sneak peek into the future. While the UP government is busy fighting Swami Avimukteshwaranand, the deputy CM of the state addresses him as "God" and "Pujya". Though he declined to directly comment on Swami Avimukteshwaranand's statement that Maurya should be the chief minister of the state, but he didn't dismiss it either. Interesting times ahead.

#WATCH | Patna, Bihar: JD(U) MLA Gopal Mandal's 'Kharge-Pharge' statement, Union Minister Nityanand Rai says, "This is their issue but it is a fact that in the INDI Alliance, the way Congress has behaved with Nitish Kumar, it is being realised by Nitish Kumar now. He has gone there with the greed of being the PM but it is never going to be fulfilled. Lalu Yadav showed him dreams and took him with the Congress. Now the result is clear..."

#WATCH | Delhi: On the incident of twin explosions in Punjab, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri says, "Punjab is not only a sensitive border state, but it also has a history of suffering from cross-border violence. Our western neighbour is using terrorism as a tool of state policy and exporting it. On social media the Khalistan Liberation Army, in fact, has claimed responsibility for the Jalandhar attack. Therefore, it's all the more regrettable that the Chief Minister of Punjab, Mr Mann, is imposing this strange construct. He said that these blasts are minor and he also suggested that the BJP may have orchestrated it. His own Director General of Police, Gaurav Yadav, has clearly stated that this is an ISI-backed operation. It's being carried out before the anniversary of Operation Sindoor. DGP is saying this. But Mr Mann, I don't know at what time of day he made this statement. But I can all see that this is deeply regrettable. I know that the recent election results in West Bengal have caused a lot of trouble to some of our allies in the opposition. After so many years, the BJP is going to form a government in a state like Bengal with a large majority. But this statement by the Chief Minister, I hope he has the wisdom and political maturity to withdraw what he has said..."

The defense attorney for Tyler Robinson stood up in court and made a statement that should disgust everyone listening. He said, “It is TRUE that Mr. Kirk spoke hatefully of certain groups of people.” He didn't say, "the state alleges." He didn't say, "many have believed." Sitting right there in front of Charlie’s widow, he stated it on the record as a fact: "It is true." This is such a scumbag move. And it's the oldest and dirtiest move there is against a dead man. Instead of flat-out saying he deserved it, this guy is basically saying, 'Well, killing him is explainable.' THAT IS WHY CHARLIE WAS TARGETED IN THE FIRST PLACE. Because people like this spun a narrative that Charlie was undeniably hateful. Absolutely disgusting.

New “bombshell” in the Cornell case? Jane Doe telling police she was “100% confident” she was raped tells us what she believed. It does not establish that a rape occurred. And is that really surprising? Would someone report a rape to police if they didn’t believe they had been raped? The more important question is whether the full interview transcript contains material facts about consent, force, or incapacity that were missing from the six-page sworn statement the DA reviewed. Doe was given the opportunity to review and correct that statement before signing it under penalty of perjury. This video has a great back-and-forth on this “new development.” I can’t vouch for every assertion made, but it’s a great example of why we should question how information is being framed rather than treating a headline as fact.

Please exercise caution, as this content is sensitive. Are you able to provide the name and specifics of the individual in this video? The statement in question is deeply offensive, implying that ‘the people of Tigray are not part of the human race, suggesting even the devil would disown them.’ This is not a direct translation, but a summary meant for documentation purposes, as it was broadcast on national television.

PMQs were naturally light-hearted today - end of term, farewell to the PM - but politics is not a joke. It is wrong that the mainstream parties are backing a comedian wearing a dustbin as their joint candidate in Clacton. My question to the PM:

Here is both the sideline and end zone view of the big miss from Hurts to AJ in the loss to the Broncos My thoughts on the play: ** AJ definitely slows up. If he doesn’t I’m not sure it is completed but it has a much better chance to be a TD. But no question him slowing up was a big reason why it wasn’t completed. ** Hurts holds onto the ball a tick longer than he should have, a theme in the game. I don’t think that is why it is incomplete but it didn’t help. ** I think AJ slowed up because he felt the ball wasn’t coming since he was already so far down the field and it hadn’t been thrown yet. To me that is probably the result of frustration from that happening a lot this season as opposed to solely on this play. ** Bottom line is this has to be a TD. This isn’t a backup QB to a No. 3 WR. This is Hurts to AJ. They needed the play and it didn’t get it done. ** Most concerning part of the play to me isn’t that it was incomplete. That is bad but it will happen. To me the most concerning part is they didn’t talk on the sideline afterwards about it. Bad sign.

NEW: Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar issues statement on the deadly ICE-involved shooting, calling ICE’s actions “unconscionable and reprehensible:" “This administration has shown, yet again, that it does not care about the safety of Minnesotans. Instead of protecting our communities, they are unleashing violence—terrorizing neighborhoods and now killing a civilian.” “This is not law enforcement. It is state violence. It is simply indefensible, and ICE must be held accountable.” The Story

🚨 This is truly shameful… In Jay Shah’s presence, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta was completely sidelined. Jay personally distributed gifts to Messi & his team - the CM wasn’t even asked once. Serious question 🤔 Is Jay Shah bigger than the CM of Delhi? This is open humiliation 💥

This is Kejriwal's convoy in Punjab—count the number of cars. Forget being a CM, he's not even an ordinary MLA. So, in what capacity is he enjoying this VIP treatment? For being the super boss of the Punjab CM?
