A homeless woman said decriminalizing drugs was just a way to make money off of them. By keeping them dependent there’s money in it because addiction often leads to other issues which the system benefits from. This is why I (and her) call it the Homeless Industrial Complex.

This is why people hate the homeless. Some of them completely destroy areas and ruin the livability of a community for everybody. There are many homeless who are respectful but the ones who aren’t make all the other homeless look bad. Seeing a camp like this just pisses me off.

These are the conditions some of our people work in, in the UK care industry due to the greed of some care homeowners. They are underpaid and overworked. And they are tied to the employer for 5 years 😭 Rather than the UK government dealing massively with these issues, they are saying care workers cannot bring their families. It is a serious crisis. A homeless persons' tent and belongings were set alight in the early hours of this morning, in Glasgow. Thankfully the person was not in there at the time but this is still unacceptable. I've found myself homeless in the past (numerous times) and to think people are doing this in my city is abhorrent. Not OK.
