Just yesterday, 4 youngsters lost their lives after leaving a club alcohol and driving together is nothing less than a death trap. Had he been jailed for the first offense for a year or so, this tragedy might have been avoided. Even this time, he was released on bail the same day! Shri Nitin Gadkari, there are various technologies available to curb wrong-side driving or to warn other drivers, such as radar, infrared, flashing lights, sign boards, radio warnings, etc. Can we think of this as priority?

On 20th May around 5:30 PM, I witnessed a serious and dangerous traffic violation on the Nashik–Pune MH48 highway. A driver was coming from the wrong side in the fast lane while I was driving at about 60–70 km/h. I had to suddenly control my car to avoid collision, and cars behind me were also in danger of crashing. Shockingly, instead of realizing his mistake, the driver signaled me to give him way, behaving as if he owned the road. His reckless actions could have led to a major accident or even fatalities. In my opinion, this is not just negligence it is a crime. If even one person had failed to react quickly, it could have resulted in a major accident. I believe this story deserves more attention, and I would be grateful if you could cover it in one of your awareness videos. These situations are becoming far too common, and we need public pressure to ensure strict penalties such as lifetime license cancellation and heavy fines for such dangerous driving. #driveresponsibly

Shockingly, instead of realizing his mistake, the driver signaled me to give him way, behaving as if he owned the road. His reckless actions could have led to a major accident or even fatalities. In my opinion, this is not just negligence it is a crime. If even one person had failed to react quickly, it could have resulted in a major accident.
