This is absolutely stunning! A static physics textbook turned into an immersive, interactive 3D learning experience. You can actually explore the concepts instead of just reading about them. Imagine if more textbooks were built like this.

Created by @techartist_ using Claude Opus 5.5 and Three.js. Explore the full interactive book:

我读书那会要是有这个,还要老师干啥。。。不过现在我儿子又不会的题我都是让 grok bot 给他做一个动态视频

Nice! Kids these days are so lucky!

is one of the best to do it. I actually don't think I've seen anyone produce better work with threejs period. And he's relentless too. I thought I was, he makes me look like a part timer. lol But it's his breadth of work that is so good. I mainly make games, he does everything.

@techartist_ Same here. His threejs work is on another level. Feels like this is how textbooks will get rebuilt going forward.

this is really cool idea i will try to recreate this with a change

The interaction is so good. I want to try recreating it too!

really helpful

the part i'd worry about is the sims, not the text. a static diagram that's wrong looks wrong. a three.js sim with the physics slightly off looks fine and quietly teaches the wrong intuition, so somebody still has to check every interaction against the actual equations

Good catch. for a real course you'd still need a teacher to check every interaction at the end, but the interaction itself is on another level.

Make this a Claude skill 😊

This is the version of AI in education I actually want — explore the concept, don't just memorize the page. Every textbook should work like this.

How long does it take to build a single chapter?

no way.. would've actually liked physics in school if it looked like this

Incredible! such a cool idea

Interesting!!

I build machine explainers with the same stack (Opus + Three.js), and one thing surprised me. Free orbit is what people play with, but the "oh, that's how it works" moment comes when the camera parks on one part and everything else fades to ghost. Without that, people spin the model and miss the point.

okay this is actually how textbooks should've worked all along. reading about physics vs poking at it in 3d is not even close

Exactly! It makes learning so much more intuitive.

The idea is very good!

This is how science was always meant to be learned. Really nice.

Goddamnit born way too early

@elonmusk check this out

turning a static textbook into something you can actually explore is how learning should've worked all along. reading about physics was always the worst possible way to understand it

took me way too long to realize I wasn't bad at physics, I just couldn't picture any of it

AI could completely revolutionize personalized learning, I'm hoping there'll be more investment in this space

Schools are not meant for learning; they are meant to produce consumers

Beautiful execution ❤️
