This is actually a baseball broadcaster on national television for a postseason game. This is how he “unbiasedly” called the Diamondbacks victory last night. Get Bob Costas off my TV screen.

I know the plays are different but the emotion and call here is what I want in the postseason. May be harsh but I don’t care for Costas in any sport. He’s always been boring while adding his own opinion mixed with useless statistics.

How is that anything but complimentary. “Welp they finished 16 games back have kicked ass and drank coffee at your house ever since!”

It sounds like a Dodgers broadcast with no emotion at all. It’s like I’m waiting in a doctor’s office waiting room.

Maybe it’s just me but I really enjoyed how he called the game last night. Thought him and BA did a great job, just contrasting styles which made it even more enjoyable back to back. But that’s just me

For me it’s not just last game. I just don’t like the monotone style he brings. I want a little bit of passion when on the call. Especially for the postseason.

Costas is excellent calling baseball. Not sure what emotion you want, the series isn’t over.

Reaching and mad about nothing. Clearly you just hate Costas. It’s a solid call. They’ve won four straight games on the road. It has to be pointed out. It would be weird to inject a bunch of emotion for no reason.
