This coach crashes out at a 14U baseball game. The coach comes down from third base and screams at the home plate umpire. It’s quiet as can be so he has everyone’s attention. He tells the umpire that he has been great all tournament but this particular call was abysmal and he knows it. 🤯 The fans clap after he finishes. 😳 The man behind the fence behind home plate (tournament director?) yells at the coach that he just said it, he’s been great all tournament but you are going to lose it over one questionable call? What I don’t get is the fans clapping. They are just encouraging this horrible behavior. Sad that we have parents that support that. If you told me as a coach before the tournament that this umpire would be great the whole tournament but will miss one call, I’d say that’s my guy, that’s my umpire. But to just completely lose it in front of all those boys? Shameful. Another coach who thinks he coaching the the World Series in MLB. And we wonder why there is an umpire shortage? Do you prefer and approve of a coach like that? (Some people do) or do you prefer a quieter coach who keeps his emotions in check?

No. Control what you can control. Do you realize the Miami Heat have been in the play in tournament for 4 consecutive seasons? Which is crazy. This umpire gave this kid and his team two warnings for throwing the bat at the catcher. He told them if it happened again they were going to get ejected from the game. Well….it happened again. The batter hit the ball back to the pitcher and the pitcher overthrew first base. But, the umpire called a dead ball and called the batter out and ejected him from the game. The coach came out to argue and said the batter didn’t throw the bat, that it was a regular follow through on the back swing. He told the umpire they had it on film. The umpire said he had it on film too. Then the third base coach came down to argue and the umpire told the coach he was wrong and that he had it on video. You can hear the parents screaming at him. Some people said that was a terrible call and he let go legally on the follow through. You can also hear them tell the umpire that he had it out for that kid. 🤯 But a lot of people sided with the ump and said he handled it well and with that many warnings that it was a fantastic call. 💯 The umpire gave the same kid two prior warnings. Even if it wasn’t intentional, there has to be consequences after a third time. He could seriously injure the catcher. This will help the batter in the future hopefully. What do you think? Was this the right or wrong call?

This is too adorable. I can see why Catherine fell in love with this man😍 It is absolutely Hilarious how Apple TV is promoting the daylight out of “the Reluctant Traveller” with Prince William, as if he is the only guest in the show. This is how you know he is the ONE💅🏽 But honestly, William is so naturally endearing and easy-going, he is a delight to listen to so much so, look at Orla, and how adoringly she looks at him. Catherine won at love indeed❤️

This Georgia Bulldogs batter, Tre Phelps, was ejected after he hit a go ahead home run against Liberty in the NCAA Regional Final game in Athens. Phelps homered and has he starts to run the bases, the home plate umpire felt that he was taunting the Liberty dugout and he continued to celebrate all the way around the bases. You can see some Liberty players ask him “what are you doing?” I guess the umpire had seen enough. Georgia Head Coach Wes Johnson was also thrown out for arguing Phelps’ ejection. Many people said he was waving to his family and said it didn’t matter, that he should be allowed to celebrate and that you can’t eject a player for that. Others said they were glad he was ejected and that there is no place in the game for this type of behavior- taunting the other team. If I was his coach I would have been livid at him for acting that way. Respect the game, respect the players and act like you have been there and just play the game. Quit the theatrics. What do you think? Do you think the umpire was justified in ejecting him or do you think he had a right to celebrate?

This umpire called a ball that the defensive team thought was a strike. The coach called a timeout after the walk and gathered his infield on the mound. On the next pitch, the catcher slid to the right out of the way of the ball making no attempt to catch it and let it drill the umpire right in the mask. Umpires are fallible human beings. Bad call? Maybe it was. But intentionally letting the ball hit him is poor sportsmanship, dangerous and has no place in the game. The coach, pitcher and catcher should all be ejected from the game. Heck, I might just call the game if I was the umpire and if that is what you are teaching your players, maybe that coach should never be allowed to coach again. What would you do if you were the umpire? How about if it was your child pitching or catching? And what are you saying to the coach if he was the coach of your team?

Tell me this is a good zone….. My guy had no shot today. This is a good hitter. This is the guy who was ALL OVER the place today. This was a normal at bat for us. The two still pictures are two different pitches one strike one ball. This was every at bat and I never once showed this guy up until he engaged me… Then he got a lesson in etiquette. And no, not one time did I say do you know who I am. As far as he knows I’m just another dumb coach. Prospect Select Scout

He warned him that if he didn’t leave he would call the game. 💯 The dad kept arguing for a bit and then starts to walk away but I guess the ump felt it was too late and called the game. You can hear one of the boys say “just leave”. Once the game is called another dad comes over and starts yelling at the umpire because he called the game. I’ll tell you, this is the reason I gave up coaching after 20 years, parents like this. They ruin it for everyone. What would you do if you were the coach of that team? Ask the fathers not to attend games? Kick the boys off because of their parents? What’s the best way to handle this?
