Can’t argue balls and strikes. Ump definitely is a head case for ringing up a kid like that. And it was a ball. LL is a joke.

Having been to multiple LLWS districts now, I can say with confidence that they need to screen these “volunteer” officials much more closely. It isn’t only the managers/coaches & players that start going nuts about the cameras. A bad LL ump is worse than a mall cop that failed the police dept psych test.

Is he the head coach? If not, it looks like the umpire tells him to be quiet. Automatic ejection in baseball and softball in high school for an assistant to argue calls in high school. Not sure about Little League thought.

After watching a few times, looks like a good strike 3 call. No idea what the coach said. But I umpired for 20 years. There are things you say, even calmly, that get you ejected. Since we can't hear, I'm guessing he said something, blue heard it. Gone.

The pitch is a strike. I know it does not look like it at first but from the side view it is just above the front knee and from the front view it catches the corner. The rule is clear no arguing balls and strikes. The coach came out of the dugout. You can't do that.

These umps call a tight zone. Coach was not supposed to walk toward home plate. Coaches must remain in designated areas during play. Clearly not following the rules.

Pitch was close enough. The best strike call of all time? Maybe not but it’s not egregious that’s for sure. Calling timeout to talk to the batter SPECIFICALLY to get to the umpire to argue balls and strikes… guy is a douche canoe. Also wear hat buddy.

Umpires are getting worse and worse. I was ejected from a game two weeks ago for asking if the kid gets an extra base for getting hit twice at bat. Wokism has created a bunch of man-children that can’t handle any criticism. Even if they are completely wrong. Debating on uploading the video…it was quite funny.

Look at me strike ring up??? Come on man. Strike 3 always needs more. Has to be distinct from a regular strike call. Need to be clear about what is happening. Trust me, just doing it the same causes confusion ESPCIALLY at lower levels with younger players.

I love all you umpires wannabees. That’s a strike all day long. It’s not where the catcher catches the ball, it’s where it crosses the front of the plate. This pitch crosses the plate at the knees and hits the outside corner. This isn’t MLB so the strike zone has a bit of leeway.

Crosses the plate top of the knee. Breaks down and out. If it didn’t catch the plate, it was really close. Camera angle distorts ball position to appear further outside. Don’t get all these people saying how obvious it was a ball! Hell of a pitch for a 12 year-old.

Keep the video going if you could...the coach walks closer to the plate talking to the ump, ump tells puts up his hand to tell him to stop and he keeps yapping. Ejected.

Umpires everywhere are fucking horrific, and turn the tide of the game by being miserable at their jobs. 99% of these assholes couldn’t get elected dog catcher. That’s why they become umpires for LL ballgames. 99% douche bags. 1% decent, honest humans.

Good call, that caught the plate. Umps ring up wasn’t bad by any means. I’m sure that coach had been bitching and moaning about every call all game and the Ump just had enough. You want to complain about bad calls fine, the coaches that complain on every call drive me nuts. Clean K and the coach comes out of the the dugout. Give me a break.

First, that is a strike. It’s where it crosses the plate, not where it’s caught. You should see the side angle where it clearly crosses at the knees. Second, he’s the assistant coach. He was warned in the first inning and continued to berate the umpire until this point.

Umpiring is a hard job and I could care less who wins or loses. That is a strike. He crossed his knees and it went over the outside corner of the plate. Let’s put it this way. It was really close enough. He should’ve been swinging with two strikes.

Clearly not even close to a strike. What I learned is that these umpires are all volunteers and are not compensated for their efforts, which for the most part is great, but unfortunately you are going to have ego maniacs like this clown. Not a good look for Little League.

The little league organization is awful when it comes to things like this. Even as fans if you make the slightest sound they will toss you. Went to watch friends and the called a kid safe that was no joke out by about 7 steps. I laughed in the stands and the umpire lost it.

From the side view that ball crossed at the top of the front knee. It was over the plate. The catcher looks to be too deep and made the pitch look worse than it was by how and where he’s at when he catches the ball. Have no idea why the coach gets booted.

And as far as the umpire called K call, all of these umps are selected based on their USA/LL training and all do it basically the same. Here is video of how they are trained to call stikes/stikeouts.

No you dumbass you don’t understand little league rules. They are given warnings before the game no argument on balls and strikes. That is across the board to all coaches. He crossed the line by arguing that. All umpires have a unique strike call has been from mlb to ll.

Imagine going out and complaining about a strike 3 call in a little league game…
