This is actually infuriating. #MeghanMarkle casually mentioning that #PrincePhilip was in the hospital, then humble brags about just picking up the phone to call the Queen to “check in”. First and foremost, I don’t believe for one second she had a direct line to Her Majesty. And if she... DID, bragging about it in an Oprah interview is the epitome of classless clownishness. The way Markle pauses for a reaction after she announces it. “I picked up the phone and called the Queen…..” “just to check in….” “I called…” waiting for Oprah’s impressed response. She says it’s sooo nice not to have to worry if something’s appropriate but that’s her mistake. Queen Elizabeth was the Queen, Head of State FIRST, Aitch’s grandmother second, and it would have served the Duchess very well to have remembered that. Harry complains about there being a level of control in the family over how they appear publicly-that’s Markle in his ear because they are the British Royal Family-that control over their image is what’s helped keep them relevant and a sense of mystery the last thousand years. Now we get into the part of the Oprah LieFest where #MeghanMarkle claims that press coverage made her want to end it all. She still insists she did not read her press coverage but she could “feel it” and her friends & mother were calling her crying saying “Meeeeg, they aren’t prooooreeecting you”. She says she went to “the Institution” asking to go away for help but was told “nope-not good for The Institution” and this is important-Oprah asks her if the Institution is one person or several-and Markle says very definitively “it’s one person”. So clearly, she’s referring to Queen Elizabeth. She realizes her error & tries to cover it up by saying “well it’s several people but I went to one of the most senior people”. Meghan Markle just accused the Queen of refusing her mental health treatment because it would look bad for the Queen. Unbelievable. This is abhorrent. There is NO WAY QE2 would have refused her pregnant granddaughter-in-law help, especially after all of the things she’s been thru with her family. This is so clearly an attempt at a Diana parallel -remember, Diana “begged the family for help” and was allegedly refused-Queen Elizabeth wasn’t going to repeat mistakes. Harry claims that the family knew for at least 2 years-funny, they weren’t even married for 2 years when they left, but ok. He then accuses his father of leaking his offer of moving to Canada and giving back the Sussex titles. Ironic, since #HarryandMeghan are proven, prolific leakers. I don’t care if King Charles’ office leaked the proposition, or if someone blabbed. How did it hurt the Harkles? And if they’re so willing to give back the Sussex titles-what’s stopping them? I think Harry’s accusation is awfully convenient-the offer was just that-an offer-and it was declined the Queen and family, so not sure what he’s complaining about. Again, he complains that the Queen canceled their meeting-but she was the QUEEN. If she wanted to see him, she’d have seen him. Another crock of 💩 from #MeghanMarkle, telling Oprah that when they got word that Prince Phillip was hospitalized she picked up the phone & called the Queen to “check in”. Not only is the tone of her voice incredibly annoying, it sounds like a lie built to impress Oprah. There is no WAY I believe that. Especially with how strained things were-HMTLQ was barely taking Harry’s calls. #MeghanMarkle says the Palace told her and everyone in her life to never comment to the Press and she did “everything they told her to do” because they promised to “protect” her. Firstly-anyone who gets involved with an ultra high profile person/family will be told that. Be it a political figure/family or someone like Taylor Swift. It might not be a Comms Team, but it’s a PR team or a Press Office-so none of that is odd. Second-what kind of “protection”? Commenting on or correcting every single story she didn’t like? She doesn’t seem to grasp that commenting or demanding retractions feeds the beast. If you say nothing, within 48 hours it’s in to the next. How thin must your skin be to demand “protection” from a stupid newspaper story? I just can’t fathom being that invested and bent about articles in the paper. She talks about the Queen and the only joint engagement they had, where she was extremely disrespectful, she blabs about a personal gift the Queen gave her, then talks about “WimbleTON” as Oprah calls it and attending with Catherine. I’m not even sure she was that upset over the articles as she was that she couldnt control it. Part 2 of the “I didn’t want to be alive anymore” skit from #MeghanMarkle in the Oprah LieFest-she says after the Queen said “nope” she went to Human Resources to ask them for help because in Suits they had a Union, you see, and that Union protected her-but HR said they can’t “protect” her because she’s not a paid employee. She pauses for effect, I think we’re supposed to be shocked but..HR for the Royal Family deals with hiring employees-like the housekeepers and cooks, the secretaries, the assistants-anyone who gets a paycheck. She wasn’t an “employee”. So what, I want a therapist so I call my MIL’s HR dept? Idiot. Markle claims all of these people agreed that the press treatment was “disproportionate” and unfair but there wasn’t anything they could do, and what was she supposed to do, take an uber to a treatment facility? No, asshole-if it was soooo bad, your husband drives you. Or you tell your midwife and they make arrangements. Markle tries to put ALL of the responsibility for her mental health on the Queen and the RF-but she was grown woman with a whole healthcare team. You reach out to THEM. That’s their JOB. She reveals that she of COURSE went to one of Diana’s best friends to complain and whine about the terrible treatment and lack of press interference that she was getting. Harry said later he didn’t tell anyone of #MeghanMarkles “struggles” because he was ashamed-so then how did “the Firm” refuse her request for treatment? Did she not have midwives for prenatal care? They are trained to not only screen but help. She didn’t need to ask permission if it was that serious, just go. There’s NO WAY that in 2019, after all the mistakes made and lessons learned that the Queen (because the buck stopped with her, she’s the head of the Firm) refused a request for mental health crisis treatment. We also know that Harry had a therapist AND access to some of the best resources thru Heads Together- his narrative that the attitude was everyone else managed it-projecting a bit there. She claims she left the house 2x in 4 months, I’d love to know when that was. She says she was lonesome so I guess Harry wasn’t enough-and that the mean Palace wouldn’t let her go out to lunch-first, if you want to go to lunch walk out the door and go to lunch. Second-we know she had friends over all the time for lunch because none of them shut up about it. Obviously Harry didn’t prepare her and maybe was a little hasty in his proposal. Notice who wasn’t fleeing and complaining and whining? Because she had several years to see what it was all about? This whole “I wasn’t allowed to do what I wanted and had no freedom” the PoW seems awfully free and she’s way more important-part of the restrictions, if not most, are security related. #MeghanMarkle failure of the day? The Curtsey. In Dec 2022, the 6 part documentary #HarryandMeghan was released on Netflix, the only Netflix project with the Harkles that’s seen any success. In Episode 2, Markle recalls her first meeting with Queen Elizabeth. She had previously discussed this in the Oprah interview, claiming she didn’t know how to curtsey but here she got into more detail. She claimed it was like “medieval times” and that it was a “joke” that she was expected to curtsey to the Monarch. Many find it hard to believe that she had no inkling that curtseying was the way you greet the Queen-she had spent considerable time in London trying to run with a society crowd, she was friends with Princess Eugenie, and held a degree in International Studies which absolutely covers protocols when meeting dignitaries. That would include formal etiquette, precedence/ranking, and cultural sensitivity to ensure respectful and effective communication with officials like Heads of State, diplomats and ambassadors. So not knowing you curtsey to the Monarch is 🧢. That was 100% for Harry’s benefit “see? I really dont know anything about you or your family, Aitch!” The cruel mockery of the Queen who had died EXACTLY 3 months earlier to the date of the doc release was shocking. This clip pisses me off for more than the mocking of the Queen, which is vile & unforgivable on its own-but #MeghanMarkle spreading the stereotype that all Americans are as uncouth & ignorant as she is and wouldn’t know that curtseying to the QUEEN is expected & a sign of respect to not the person, but the position was a huge miscalculation on her part. I’d wage a bet that most Americans know that you curtsy to a King or Queen and I think Markle knew that too. As far as the other members of the family and the Palace being “threatened” by their popularity-that’s a lie. It’s in the best interest of the Royal Family to maintain popularity-the Queen knew it, Charles knew it, and William knew it. Harry is the only one complaining about & comparing who was more popular-and everyone knows that the shiny new family member is always going to have that initial burst of intense interest. The true test is maintaining that interest which both Diana & Catherine mastered. Princess Diana was one of the Royal Family’s biggest assets-the complaints about her popularity within the family werent that cut & dry, there were way deeper issues so to make the #MeghanMarkle/Diana comparison AGAIN is not valid. This woman booked a flight in a plane. She never remembered agreeing to the responsibilities of being in an emergency row, but when she was called to check in, they had informed her she was. The employee kept asking her over and over as if she was publicly shaming her for refusing to take on that responsibility. The woman feels she’s not trained nor is she qualified to be responsible for saving others. She ended up changing her ticket to another seat but was the employee actually trying to shame her or just make her aware of where she’s sitting?

The first time #HarryandMeghan saw the rest of the family after their announcement that they were quitting and turning tail was at Westminster Abbey with #MeghanMarkle in the notorious Kermit outfit. Harry complains that they were “cold” to them and he’s just flabbergasted that they wouldn’t “use”the ILBW and all of her Princess Diana like talents to their advantage. Well-first, Harry is the only person besides Markle that thinks there a Diana resemblance. The family was beyond sick and tired of those 2 constantly complaining and Markle’s treatment of staff was a HUGE problem. By the time they announced they were leaving, most of the family was a-ok with that. Nobody was upset they were leaving-they were disgusted with their behavior. The first time #HarryandMeghan saw the rest of the family after their announcement that they were quitting and turning tail was at Westminster Abbey with #MeghanMarkle in the notorious Kermit outfit. Harry complains that they were “cold” to them and he’s just flabbergasted that they wouldn’t “use”the ILBW and all of her Princess Diana like talents to their advantage. Well-first, Harry is the only person besides Markle that thinks there a Diana resemblance. The family was beyond sick and tired of those 2 constantly complaining and Markle’s treatment of staff was a HUGE problem. By the time they announced they were leaving, most of the family was a-ok with that. Nobody was upset they were leaving-they were disgusted with their behavior. A woman was finishing up her day, and was walking to her car in the parking garage. She sees something that’s terrified her, a car is moving forward and is about to go over the edge of the parking garage. She rushes over there to find a young woman, she stops her from driving, the young lady just got done working and she’s very tired. She put the car in drive instead of in reverse and didn’t even notice she was going forward instead of backwards. I’m convinced the woman saved the young lady’s life that day, had she not intervened it would have ended very differently. Should she have put yourself in harms way like she did, should she have taken the keys away?

The only reason I even really got involved is because Charlie was so pro-marriage and he wanted to demonstrate to the world you can be married and have kids and this is the good life.’” “So when he dies, she takes over, right? This moves over to her control. She says, ‘Well, the first thing I want to do is honor his last book. That’s the very first thing I want to do. I want to honor his legacy.’ And she’s like, ‘I don’t know exactly how to take this position. At the same time, there’s expectations for the organization my husband built that I want to honor, but I’m also in the middle of grief.’ “And, it’s like, I don’t know how you balance that position.
