I feel like these developments give credence to the theory that reality is a simulation, and our brain, or whatever metaphysical concepts really run things, are the generators. Physics is all about lowering energy state. Why run a whole universe when you can simulate experience?

I can't really argue that, it's hard to comprehend just what they have achieved here. Nothing shy of awe-inspiring.

Cool, fun and all that. But ultimately looks like it’s done by someone who just spent a month or two in Blender in 2010. Crap will be generated, bespoke will be crafted.
