Not every animal runs from a tiger. In this clip from Ranthambore, India, a tiger goes after a sloth bear, but the bear turns around and stands its ground. That is not random bravery. Sloth bears have long, powerful claws and can badly injure a tiger if the fight gets too close. A tiger can kill one, but it can also get hurt trying.
