This is an incredible Parallel parking. UAE, UK and other countries really weed out the amateurs using this test. Unfortunately this type of parking is literally unknown in India (It’s covered in our driving manual). Should RTA add this to our DL test? #roadsafety

@MORTHIndia The kind of patience people have outside India is amazing Here we have uneducated egoistic unthinking anxious drivers If someone is reversing a car trying to take a turn they will not stop at 15-20 feet but will go on his tail literally, which adds to disruption

@MORTHIndia Adding tests are a different story. But conducting all the existing tests are necessary. Other words, no bribe for license.

Clearing the road test in one attempt is a great achievement. Kudos. I failed my first road test because he asked me to change lanes 50 m before a pedestrian crossing. Though I used indicator, checked mirror and Blindspot he failed me because of the pedestrian crossing ahead. That’s when I learned that you’re not supposed to change lanes before pedestrian crossing as it will confuse pedestrians already crossing.

@MORTHIndia I see this being done on a regular basis in my area. But v few can do it w/o hitting both vehicles. 😐

@MORTHIndia Without such tight parking, almost every car has scratches on their corner on bumpers, if introduced, then scratches will be even more common and will become headache for insurance companies We’d need that kind of training & infra first which we don’t have
