This is an outstanding example why BTS is peak of popular art. Also why it's so impactful to make the right artists famous. Give them infinite budget, let them create and embrace their offering. Be a patron, instead of a mindless consumer like most of kpop and pop customers...

A Plea for Difficult Images (A small rant about what I think art is today) Why does the contemporary art world embrace the ugly, the every day, the absurd, the nonsensical, and the visually and conceptually challenging? Why is that? You know this is the case because, 5 out 10 times, you come out of a contemporary art museum asking: What just happened!? What the f*** is this? Why is this art? Well, it is a long story, but let's start with something basic, like, pretty, beautiful images have been done ad infinitum up until the 20th century. Every pretty sunset, cityscape, landscape, still life, and portrait has been done before to perfection. You just need to open up a history of art book, and you will find hundreds of examples of pretty images. The challenge for artists after the invention of the photographic camera, which rendered things so perfectly, was to see other things. The challenge for artists today is to see the world differently: ugly, weird, absurd, unrecognizable. The artist´s mission suddenly became to ask questions and to think and represent differently: art is the place where we can have no certainty; where it is ok to make no sense and just present questions. Beautiful things still get made. Cute is still a thing in 21st-century art, But for completely different reasons. Beauty is not done for beauty's sake, but to challenge why we would, after thousands of years, still want to see beautiful images. Abstract art was once a f*** you to the establishment. But ever since the world tamed it, abstract art has become decorative at best. The last moment or revival of this form was called "Zombie Formalism" for it´s complacent visuals with "modernist and expressionistic styles,” which worked perfectly to please collectors interested in flipping works of art they did not understand from emerging artists who essentially crafted hundreds of generic images indistinguishable from one another. Contemporary art has moved into a space where artists tend to challenge art and beauty. They´ve become philosophers of the image, and in doing so, they have left many viewers perplexed and confused as to what exactly it is that they are witnessing or supposed to connect with. It seems that art today asks viewers and collectors to go on the same trip that the artist has gone through: understand thousands of years of art, read all the books that questioned why that was all made, and experiment with them in what can be considered art today. For those curious about art and collecting, they usually come to art with a blank slate and arrive at pretty pictures and, as many viewers for thousands of years, enjoy what they are looking at. The creators of those pretty pictures call themselves artists, and so it seems the system works. But when those pretty pictures escape the niche they are produced in and try to mingle with the contemporary art world, rarely do they become accepted, because, the museums, the informed collectors and the contemporary art market ask the questions of why pretty pictures again? Why today? How is this advancing our understanding of art? How is this commenting on all we know about art? What are these poster-looking, perfectly designed illustrations proposing to the art world that we have not considered before? And so those questions need to be answered for pretty images to be seen as art. And pretty is not only an aesthetic concept, but it is also about the intentions and the way the artist is capable of expressing his artistic intent. You can have “pretty intentions,” and that, too will be challenged. Simple themes, simple concepts without historical and conceptual rigor, are torn down and debunked because why do we need pretty artistic intentions anymore? Why do we need to see images based on explorations of color or form, self-portraits as an exploration of self, the line between reality and fiction, and the list goes on... These ideas have already been explored to the depths of their possibilities and those explorations became movement in the past. To go down that path again is a matter of practicing or studying to be an artist, but the contemporary art world rarely could see this as a proposal to move forward the world of art. So, you see, a plea for difficult images is a plea to be committed, respectful, thoughtful, and innovative. We cannot move forward, as in all practices that thrive on “the new,” without committing to understanding and challenging what came before. Science asks this of us, technology asks this, literature asks this, and cinema, too. We need pretty images, but they should only be a path to something way more profound. To do and understand art takes time, vulnerability, and a willingness to change… not everyone is willing to take that path. (Healed by Jess Mac)

ah he's a genius- you can technically quantify bts the group, bts the brand, by how much money they make, by the economic impact they create, but that isn't what makes bts BTS. and we've said it so many times, you can copy bts' every move and it still won't give you the same results, because what makes bts unique, what their real essence is, is their bonds with each other. the many trials they've weathered together for all these years with army, THAT isn't able to be replicated. and the people who look in from the outside can pull out numbers or career milestones and have one part of bts, but they don't know the whole of them.

3 years ago Refik Anadol & Efsun, together with the royal family of the forest, the Yawanawa, dreamed of a project that could share the crossover of traditional indigenous art with futuristic pigments of AI. They dreamed of building a community to not only host their family, but also bring together their indigenous brothers and sisters from around the world. Aldeia Sagrada was reimagined. We 1OF1 are very honoured & deeply grateful that Refik Anadol & the Yawanawa family have chosen us to be the steward of their historic collaborative art work, the Winds of Yawanawa 1of1. Last week my family & I had the privilege to join Indigenous Nations from across the Amazon basin & around the world as they came together for a truly historic & deeply beautiful moment at the Indigenous Ayahuasca Conference in Acre, Brasil, where Indigenous leaders shared their ancient wisdom, beautiful art & wonderful energy with each other. As someone who has built infra in Brazil, I can confirm that what Refik Anadol and the Yawanawa family have built in Aldeia Sagrada is absolutely breathtaking & indescribable. The infrastructure & organization of their wonderful community is incredible. They have proven to the world a model for synergistic alliances between traditional Indigenous nations with new technologists, creatives and builders that can both massively support these native communities as well as celebrate the preservation of their way of life. I found myself overwhelmed with emotion at points throughout the week witnessing how amazing this place and these people are. It is with all of the lessons of 1OF1’s global tours in hand & our hearts filled with a deep sense of mission, that we commit to share this iconic work of art with the world in conversation with other works of Amazonian indigenous art. We promise to share the inspiring message of the Yawanawa across the globe through the power of art.

Derrick Milano about working with BTS 🙏🧎‍♀️ ‘The biggest part for me working with them is just really like, they really love creating music. It doesn't seem like they're in it for the money. It doesn't seem like they're in it for clout. It seems like they really genuinely and passionately love music. I think we need to see that more because it's a gift from God that we have and we can't take it for granted because at any point in time it can get taken away. So when you do have the opportunity and the luxury and you do have the pleasure to work with amazing people and you're able to put this stuff out, take advantage of it, and I think THEY take advantage of it to the fullest extent, from their music videos to the performance to the recording to the engineering to who they collaborate with. They use it to the fullest extent, and I think that's why it's so receptive and it's performing the way it is, because they go above and beyond for their work and their process and their product.’

I love finding artists that are really giving a lot of thought to how they are creating their art with AI and why. The most interesting way to think about AI art works I´ve come across lately is from Jason Handshsu: "I've been teaching a class on technology and it's forced me to really examine the topics at hand. Reading essays by established art historians in the late 1800's condemning photography as incapable of contributing to the knowledge of art, even 50 years after its invention, really highlights how easy it is for people to misidentify fundamentally what something can do. A lot of those interpretations in the past didn't recognize, at the heart of photography was the capturing of light, and that the exploration of photography inherently relies on modeling the behavior of light. With machine learning, what it captures is concepts. So in order to explore image generation, it requires a person to model the conceptual space of language and images". This idea is one step closer to finding the "what is this tool doing". Very excited to be collaborating with him for The present and future is pretty exciting.

MiCA forced Revolut to delist Tether, and now it's filling that gap with its own euro stablecoin "Revolut joins the global stablecoin race with a euro backed token. Because of MiCA regulation around the European Union, Revolut was basically forced to delist Tether. They have USDC taking a huge percentage of their gains, and they have this massive gap from Tether." "So what they can do is launch their own euro backed stablecoin and try to use that internally for their customers." "To give credit to Austin, who I discussed this with this morning, nobody wants euros anywhere outside of Europe, and they don't really want them there either, they're just forced to use them." "So it's not like this is going to compete with dollar backed stablecoins. But it is a private company and neobank launching a stablecoin for their customers."

this man also worked with bts (translation isn’t mine): “So, how did I end up filming a commercial? It was with BTS and Oreo. Each member arrived in a Bentley. With a driver, of course. Tons of security, a studio - everything. Staff covered up everyone’s phones and made us sign contracts saying we couldn’t film, make a sound, breathe, anything. We walked onto the set, each of us was handed an Oreo cookie, and then BTS came out and stood next to us. We filmed the first shot together, and the camera pulled back from the one of them, so I ended up standing right beside them. Then we did the dance scenes, wrapped up, and I thought, I definitely got the most out of this shoot. I won’t talk about the pay - it doesn’t matter whether it was a lot or a little. The important part is that I met every member of BTS, shook hands with each of them, and chatted a bit. They asked me, ‘So, where are you from?’ I said, ‘Russia. You?” They laughed and asked, ‘Do you know Korean?’ I said, ‘No.’ They were like, ‘Why not? You live in Korea but don’t know Korean?’ So I replied, ‘Well, why is it that only one of you speaks English?’ We joked around, laughed for a bit, and they were like, ‘Alright, alright, fair enough.’ I said, ‘Guys, it was great meeting you. Thanks for this opportunity and for your time.’ I gave everyone a hug and even got to shake hands with your idols.”

“People think BTS is this big because of their industry plans. But that couldn't be further from the truth. K-pop didn't accept them, and hip-hop didn't accept them. So they went grassroots. History repeats itself. You can see the through line from D'Angelo to Outkast to now BTS. When a group is forced to curate their own world, they typically end up becoming one of the biggest. Because everybody wants to be on that world.” 🔗

🚨 WOW! Stephen Miller just exposed it: "Some people might not like what I'm about to say, but it has to be said. You have the Left continue in its professional associations like nursing and doctors and education — people who casually CHEER ASSASSINATIONS." "Their conversation is: 'I'm glad that so and so was shot,' or 'I'm mad that so and so didn't finish the job.'" "This is common now in white-collar professions that are controlled by Democrat credentialing bodies, is it creates this kind of person." "And it's SICK, and when you see it online, you see it also in left-wing comedy where they cheer and they laugh and they joke and they all have a good time talking about our friends getting m*rdered!" "It's really fundamentally the normalization of assassination — and if we don't deal with this, we're in for a world of pain and a world of HURT." "It's just, it's sickening and it's heinous and it's just repugnant in every single way. But this gets back to the theme that I'm presenting today, which is that the third worldification of American politics is the normalization of assassination." "It's the normalization of the idea that assassinations are a common expression of disagreement. It is one of the most vile, horrible, evil society destroying things that can possibly happen to a country." Stephen Miller Will Cain

The elites SECRET SOCIETIES and DARK TEACHINGS that rule the world. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist. The cults and societies are above and control governments. From presidents, celebrities, athletes, musicians, actors, judges, CEOs, even police officers... Most of them are freemasons. Notice that they are all in specific high positions in our society. Coincidence? ...No. There are also other cults and societies like Skull and Bones of Yale, the cult of Ba'al, and many, many others. Some of these cults at the highest levels deal with things such as child abuse and ritualistic sacrifice. The reason they do this is to pay homage to their gods as it is the highest form of sacrifice since a child is uncorrupted, and through their teachings, they believe that sexually defiling a child, through the child's innocence and youth, grants them longer life and power. These teachings and rituals go back thousands of years. This is why they are obsessed with children beyond the pleasure and blackmail aspect. It is literally a part of their belief system, a religion. Just remember, nothing is free and if you want it the easy way, there is always a catch. Power, wealth, and fame, unless you're born into it, comes with a price. When it's time to pay, they will come for you, and you don't pay for it with money. You pay with your life.

It is with deep gratitude that I welcome you all to Local Void Records. I remember talking about wanting to start a label 10 years ago.. I thought of it as a far out dream at the time, so to be here now is both invigorating and humbling. Manifesting a platform that provides opportunities for other artists to have a chance of getting their music heard is something I’m extremely passionate about. I understand the struggle of how hard it is to get your music out there and this feels like a way I can give back. Releasing music is just the beginning.. we have a team of passionate individuals who are excited to grow this entity into something bigger with the mission of uplifting and inspiring others. The name Local Void is inspired by the concept of a void in space.. a vast, open space that’s waiting to be filled. In the context of our label, it represents the idea that there is room for all kinds of music and artists, no matter their style or genre. The void is not empty.. it's a place of infinite possibility. Just like that cosmic void, Local Void is a space where artists can push boundaries and explore new dimensions of sound without limitation. It's a home for anyone who feels their music has something unique to offer, and it’s a space that will continually evolve, welcoming new voices and fresh ideas. Truly.. thank you to everyone who has supported me. I recognize that you all are the reason I’m in the position to be able to do something like this. Luv you all 🫶🏼 ~ Mike
