Glad I don't have to go to school, these days. Good luck, kids...

The notwithstanding clause in literally in the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

What about the rights of the students, good kids who want to learn. Covid and this, you failed them and that we can’t tolerate any longer. It isn’t an attack, it’s compassion for the children and their rights. Be adults and be teachers.

It's been done before by the federal government... give it a rest Children have a right to an education. & @ABDanielleSmith put the Children first. This is exactly what the majority of Albertans voted for.👏👏👏

No, if the charter is part of our democracy, so too is the notwithstanding clause.

The ATA is the villain in this story, not the province, not the teachers. They take in $70 million a year from those 51000 teachers, yet they don’t have strike pay coverage. I bet that most of the teachers are secretly praying for @ABDanielleSmith to use section 33, so they can go back to work and get paid, without being cancelled by the union, or risk being sanctioned by their regulatory body. We’ve witnessed enough lawfare in the past 10 years, to know what the ATA would do.

Sit down. You sure as hell didn't seem to mind when Trudeau used back to work legislation THREE TIMES Heather. You unCanadian traitors kept him in power anyway. We'd be telling a very different story if not for you and your self absorbed party.

@CatRoussel I don’t often agree with the Conservatives in these replies but on this point they are absolutely correct. Section 33 is part of the Charter. It lasts 5 years for a reason. If the good folks of Alberta don’t like it they can elect an NDP government. Let’s see if they do.

Imagine being in outrage over this but you did nothing but hold up the liberals when they forced the dock workers, rail workers and postal workers back to work. You're a fake.

if they are on strike and not actually working, why do you call them workers? They are strikers.

Hysterical. Public service unions have a monopoly on labour and regularly extort more from tax payers.

Great work in lowering the development of our children's education by striking for a month. Its never about the kids, it's always about you!

You're mispronouncing bureaucracy. It sounds like you're saying democracy.
