Wait what? He skipped over how the wife was created for a purpose. God took Adam's rib not to make women independent. No! She was his helper, a gift. He skipped over the awe Adam felt when he laid eyes on her. I bet you most of his parishioners were single.

As a single women I do appreciate the the fact that he tried to emphasize it’s nothing wrong with you if you are single. Many people attack women because they don’t have a man or aren’t married .. think it’s something wrong with them.

I teach marriage isn’t for everyone! #StaySingle

Ain’t no way in hell he thought that made sense

As a "whole woman" in her Mid-Forties, I see right through this narrative. It's packaged pretty in a Sunday Sermon but the message is "I don't need a man!" Even though we came from one. Women need to override this with vulnerable stories that tell the truth of being "whole."

He’s just trying to pick up single women

Women keep the church paid... Many Congregations are 75% women... seem like pandering

What he said is biblical, Eve did come into existence whole...not broken 💔 a man doesn't make her whole, I support the message 🙌🙌🙌🙌

Boarder line blasphemy. Nobody was broken. Everything and everyone were literally PERFECT. God said it wasn’t good for Adam to be alone and gave him a wife. His message should have been that everyone has eternal value. Both sexes are different, but equally valuable.
