@CorleoneFilmz Mummified alive, slowly devoured by scarabs, resureccted twice as a mummy all for his beloved and when he needed her she abadoned him unlike Evie for Rick. Gotta feel kinda bad for Imhotep.

@CorleoneFilmz

@CorleoneFilmz It’s actually such a good scene. The fact he even has the brief moment with Rick and Evie like “dang, you two have something real” it’s so humanizing. You forget he wasn’t doing all this to take over the world he really just wanted to be with the woman he loved.

@CorleoneFilmz Poor guy died before he fell

@CorleoneFilmz

@CorleoneFilmz

@CorleoneFilmz Bro all the effort to transcend time and death to bring her back to life for her to turn around and do that to him😭

@CorleoneFilmz

@CorleoneFilmz Rick choose.......wisely

@CorleoneFilmz Hermano, se condeno para siempre solo para revivirla y eso pasa?

@CorleoneFilmz Whoever wrote this scene in The Mummy (1999) deserves a raise. 😭

@CorleoneFilmz Imhotep learned she wasn’t his it was only his turn.

@CorleoneFilmz Despite being a villain, I felt that as a kid. Like, "dam, bro. She left you"

@CorleoneFilmz When he realized his SEXY bitch... was a sexy BITCH

@CorleoneFilmz That resignation filled glance he gives to Rick and Eve like "yeah man, can you believe it?"

@CorleoneFilmz I was young, but I remember that scene in every detail. His last smile said it all: you deserved to win, your love is sincere, good luck.

@CorleoneFilmz Compared to that betrayal, hell will be a cakewalk.

@CorleoneFilmz That's rough, buddy.

@CorleoneFilmz Ali is the true villain.

@CorleoneFilmz There was a saying : "As children ,we root for the superhero. as adults we start sympathizing with the villain. "

@CorleoneFilmz Perhaps we judged this movie too harshly.

@CorleoneFilmz 10 year old me always thought Rick should have saved the mummy there. After all, he was just a regular guy at that point. Then he could have come back in a sequel in an unexpected ally.

@CorleoneFilmz That's how they do.

@CorleoneFilmz Even as a kid I was like what the fuck lady? Probably the first time I ever felt villain sympathy.

@CorleoneFilmz Even as a kid, I couldn't help but feel sorry for the way things ended with Imohtep. Underneath the creature feature of a monster is not an entirely bad human being. All Imohtep originally wanted was his beloved by his side. He'd kill for her. He'd sacrifice everything for her.

@CorleoneFilmz Each time major pain to watch this poor man lose it all.

@CorleoneFilmz He wasn't so evil that his heart couldn't break, nor unable to recognise real love. I like how he just accepts his fate with a resolute smile.

@CorleoneFilmz He should have hit the gym instead

@CorleoneFilmz Embarrassing! He moved heaven and earth to bring her back and she left him when he needed her lol

@CorleoneFilmz She really said Na mun this a you problem.

@CorleoneFilmz What I never understood is how she literally killed her self for him… but won’t risk running across a room to help him?

@CorleoneFilmz Watching age 10 and in 20s and 30s

@CorleoneFilmz This is why watching childhood favorites isn't necessarily a bad thing. Maybe it's just the camera shake but I swear there's a subtle nod in acknowledgement from mummy dude to the love those two share before he accepts his fate.
