This is brilliant & how any apolitical protest should be. Today's Kumortuli, Bengal's renowned Sculpting Hub unitedly participated in a mega protest rally through the narrow lanes demanding justice for RG Kar. The visuals has been heartwarming.

Answer, then protest: 1. What justice protestors want? Why not demanding death penalty for sole bihari rapist? 2. Why CBI? For poor track record, & absence of IO in court? 3. Why silent of killing of a Bengali Muslim, numerous rapes in Manipur, up, molestation at gov house?

𝐒𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠! This is allegedly from a “protest for RG Kar” organized by BJP in Bengal. Is THIS BJP’s idea of “respecting women”? Creepy BJP misogynists hijacked a protest for political agendas with ZERO concern for the victim or any woman.

#WATCH | Delhi: AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi says, "What happened yesterday is the consistent behaviour of this government. Similar things happened during the lawyers' protest, the farmers' protest and also during the CAA protest. This (protest) has been going on for so many weeks. You should have engaged in talks with students before. You can see the visuals which have come out. This is complete disorder."

-Are you connected with #RSS? Subhankar- Yes I am a swayamsevak, I am part of RSS. Open admission by one of the few who is leading ‘Paschim Banga Chhatra Samaj’, that has has called for a protest march to Nabanna (state secretariat) on August 27 demanding resignation of #MamataBanerjee over #RGkar issue. #Left parties have distanced themselves from this organisation and the protest march but #BJP has backed them, calling the org an apolitical student organisation demanding justice

Chor Chor slogans raised at the Durga Idols & their members going for Visarjan from the Red Road Carnival. How shameless one has to be to do this ? This is the lot who diluted the RG Kar protests through their nonsense.

This should be a MAJOR story. Someone shot a bullet at Sabah Mooswi, a Muslim organizer with Dallas Shias for Justice & Palestinian Youth Movement. The bullet went through her car & into her child’s car seat as she was leaving a protest.

Today's protest in Sir Gangaram Hospital Lahore was against by the students of Fatima Jinnah Medical University demanding justice for a 5-year-old kid who was raped or attempted to rape by a sweeper of the hospital. Shameful that no mainstream media is covering this. Shit country

#WATCH | Mumbai | Heavy police deployment at Shivaji Park, in view of CJP call for a protest against the Election Commission; A few locals from the area object to the park being used as a protest site, citing inconvenience to locals here A local says, "We come here for walks in this park, but many protests have been happening here recently. Who is responsible for the troubles being caused to the common people? It is wrong. If a protest is for the right cause, then it's fine. The govt has provided Azad Maidan for protests." Another local says, "We stay in this area. Today, there is a lot of police presence, and a stage has been set up. The local associations from here have written to Shivaji Park Police Station that no protests should be allowed here...There are schools and hospitals here, which cause inconvenience. We are only demanding that these people (CJP) should got to Azad Maidan to protest."

She is Danish Ali. She is a leftist and a JNU student. She participated in the CJP protest and went on a 7-day hunger strike. But she couldn't stay away from Junaid's biryani, so she ended her hunger strike within just 7 days. After the CJP protest ended, she is now going to Bihar to question the government in support of students, even though there is no student protest happening there. Meanwhile, for the last 11 days, a massive student protest has been taking place in Jharkhand. But Danish Ali has neither gone there to join the students' protest nor supported it in any way. The CJP protest was against the BJP government, and Bihar also has a BJP government, so Danish Ali is opposing the government by supporting the protesters in both places. But in Jharkhand, where the Congress-backed opposition is in power, Danish Ali has neither spoken a single word in support of the students nor gone there to support their protest. This is the true face of leftists like Danish Ali. They only use students for their political interests and to oppose the BJP.

🚨 Sonakshi Sinha instantly made a reel after Dharmendra Pradhan resigned. She has been posting 10–15 stories and reels every day about the CJP protest for a long time. Why is she so involved in this protest? She is behaving as if she herself is a NEET student. I haven't seen any celebrity get this involved in any protest. It looks like she wants attention after failing in Bollywood and on YouTube career.

Palestine Action should never have been proscribed a terrorist organisation. The Government tried to use counter-terror laws, laws designed for terror groups like al-Qaeda, against a protest group. Because in a democracy, protest is not terrorism. And it never should be.
