This is very popular in Navi Mumbai! We used to play cricket below the bridge that is just outside our college! Helps tackle illegal parking, and provides play area as well. All thanks to CIDCO.

brilliant idea! We in bangalore also use the best space under bridge. we use it to dump our garbage, urinate, vandelize or even a dope shelter! 🥸

I think some of these areas should be designated pay and park zones. Especially in Mumbai, it would help a great deal. Slum dwellers won’t occupy and destroy such areas if used for parking and roads will be less congested. Not to mention cars get shade. 😊

@zoraski_gujju Yes, I agree. A bridge can be divided in different parts.. some for parking-like areas where the height is not much to play sports & some can be for sports!
