Their condition says that they have been starving for days. It is highly possible that some of dogs might not have survived the distress due to starvation and confinement. This is an interview a few days after the Brexit referendum in 2016 with a voter in Barnsley. He says he voted to leave to stop immigration. Not to lower it, not to change its composition, not to pause it but to stop it. It’s men like this which is why I’ll fight like hell for a Restore government. Men like this have been betrayed again and again and it’s men like this who make up a lot of Reform’s base. They genuinely believe Farage is going to be the man to stop immigration. They honestly believe under Farage visas will be halted and the foreigners in their community will be made to leave. And the thought of Farage betraying these people yet again is too much to bear. We must give them a Restore government and we have to then radically change the course of the country by deporting millions and millions of people whilst cutting gross migration by 90-95%.

Not one lakh, not two lakh, not three lakh, but millions of trees will be cut down. There will be immense damage to biodiversity. The local communities, the tribal people there, will be displaced. The Gram Sabha (village council) has already said that they do not want this, and yet the Modi government is forcibly pushing ahead with this Great Nicobar infrastructure project..."

#WATCH | Uttarakhand | SDRF rescue teams leave for areas affected by heavy rains in the Basukedaar area of Rudraprayag district. Due to heavy rains in Badeth Dungar Tok, under the Tehsil Basukedaar area of Rudraprayag district, local families were affected by heavy debris. As soon as information was received about some people being stranded from the affected area, as per the orders of Shri Arpan Yaduvanshi, Commandant SDRF Uttarakhand, SDRF teams were immediately dispatched from Sonprayag, Agastyamuni and Ratuda to the spot with necessary rescue equipment. SDRF teams are constantly trying to reach the affected village by overcoming extreme obstacles and adverse conditions. Crossing the overflowing streams and obstacles on the way, the soldiers themselves are crossing safely and are also helping the local villagers to reach safe places. The team is reaching the site of incident and taking coordinated action to evacuate the affected families safely and to conduct necessary relief and rescue operations.
