Nice work! I'd like to see more feats of strength on fintwit. How many push ups can Milkshake Brent do?

Try gripping the bar with your thumb wrapped over the bar instead of underneath. At first it may feel awkward, but it helps with grip stamina as you are using all fingers, not just four. I also find that it works out your forearms more.

@DreMikic Well done sir. Swinging your feet and body back and forth does give you an unfair advantage. Still impressive, but if you remain still and go all the way down without locking your elbows it’s much harder. Crossing your legs and bending your knees back, harder still.

@adamtaggart Crossing your legs creates asymmetry, don’t recommend

control your breathing more mate, you got a few more reps in there....after you've grabbed the bar inhale again & then exhale into the first pull, that'll set your scapula for the rest of them...it'll be a more linear a movement too so you don't sway, it's costing you efficiency

To hopefully inspire others that they can/should invest in their fitness If 50+ guy with a desk job like me can do it, it's possible for them, too

Keep doing that and at 65 your shoulder joints will be shot. It feels good now but you will pay for it later. Joints do not heal. They just get used up.

I love the worn out muddy walkway up to your bar amongst all of the tall grass growing up around it... evidence of durable hard work. Great job man.

Since you’re putting it out there I have to say that’s a completely ordinary effort as far as I’m concerned. It’s sad you have normal men casting doubt about doing ten pull-ups.

I’m sorry but you’re gonna have to go lower than this to prove the doubters wrong. Doubters still ahead here IMO.

Well done! But....respectfully, mix in some sets with a slow eccentric, allll the way down, shoulders touching ears, then engage shoulders, slight elbow bend, and explode up. This will add numbers to your kipping reps. Again, good job, respect.

No doubt in those 10. Very tough to do when the bar is that far off the ground. Motivational.
