This is Garissa–Dadaab–Liboi Road: The initial feasibility and design process for tarmacking is complete! From this road to Isiolo–Wajir–Mandera Highway, President Ruto’s commitment to transforming Northern Kenya is evident. This is why we will stand firmly behind him in 2027.

We will ensure that, by July 2027, the lads are fully awakened to the reality and reminded of where their true interests lie, even if it means drilling some sense into their heads repeatedly before they cast their ballots based on social media clicks rather than informed judgment

It's not a favour bro, and should be aware it's a world bank project.

The first tranche of World Bank financing for the Isiolo–Mandera Road was released to Kenya in 2020 under Uhuru, but was subsequently redirected. The WB deal is a loan, not freebie. Reviving and executing the project is therefore a commitment under Ruto. That distinction matters

@Jamalabdelnasir Just as a rejoinder; The Garissa-Madogash-Wajir-Mandera road lost money through redirections by successive regimes until it once almost created friction with two Gulf states. When someone gives you access to the rights which you have been unfairly denied, then you owe him a thanks

But Walalkey don't forget William Ruto was in that regime you are talking about, mih I agree it a positive thing cox it would really help our people alot, you can't imagine when it rains, the roads are impasssable but our local leaders they never care about our situation, they usually use air as means of transport. As you vouch for Ruto also don't forget to talk about poor leadership.

@AwDoll I agree with you on this, but the major part of the blame goes to the voters. They are the makers of the bad leadership.

@AwDoll Kweli bro I am ready to volunteer and do Civic education cox if it's issue of Marginalisation is us the people of Northeastern affected most yet we don't have whistleblower.

@AwDoll Sure bro, that gap is there and is something that needs collective attention. Even the whistleblowing alone won’t suffice because of many factors including clan politics. We need many combinations to increase awareness.

Funny thing is without the Thika-Mwingi road this road wouldn't be as impactful. So why again is Uhuru never recognised for his works for ball rolling these projects. People act like infrastructure projects exist in isolation. Political conmanship

Is it still that volatile, that you have to hit the pedal to the floor.? Thought security has improved at least frimm Garissa to Daada. Daadab to Liboi speed should be "nearer to to thee my God"

Shida ya hii barabara haijai kuwa pesa its insecurity. Unakumbuka tu juzi what those bush guys did to the chinese contractor his wife and workers. Now imagine what they will do here. I doubt the workers will be locals
