Every single one of them is just a compromised mouthpiece, worshipping Apple instead of questioning its outrageous pricing strategy in India. The new iPhone Duo is priced at $1,999 in the US, roughly ₹2 lakh. In India, Apple is charging ₹3 lakh. That’s a staggering ₹1 lakh, or roughly $1,000, markup. Yet there’s barely a word about this in their “first impressions” videos. The objective seems to be to normalise Apple’s pricing by relentlessly hyping the product rather than holding the company accountable.
Another Apple fanboy proudly declaring that the overpriced iPhone Duo will be his “daily driver.” But what exactly does he need a ₹3 lakh phone for? Reading specifications off a box, parroting Apple’s marketing and guessing a phone’s weight doesn’t require an iPhone Duo. An entry-level smartphone can do all of that just as well
Have some fcking common sense. No one is going to bash Apple at an Apple event about their products price hikes. If you can’t afford it then don’t bother thinking about it. It’s that simple.
