Thanks to forward-thinking policies like the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme and sustained efforts by the Indian government, India is fast becoming a global hub for high-tech manufacturing. Just a decade ago, over 80% of smartphones in India were imported, and smartphone exports were negligible.
