Vision IAS Delhi Students Deserve Clarity. No student should have to prepare for UPSC with fear, confusion and uncertainty. Also, No institute should have to go through such a phase. Students have paid their fees, trusted the institute and planned their preparation around its classes, teachers, test series and study material. They are not asking for too much. They only want to know what is happening and what will happen next. This is not the time for silence. The Director, the management and the senior faculty should come together on one stage and speak directly to the students. They should clearly explain whether classes will continue, which faculty members will remain, how pending courses will be completed and what support will be given to enrolled students. Even if there are problems, students can understand them. What they cannot handle is being left without answers. At this point, assurance matters. A clear and honest interaction can reduce rumours, rebuild confidence and help students focus again on their preparation. Students are already carrying the pressure of one of the toughest examinations in the country. They should not be made to carry the burden of institutional uncertainty as well. They are not asking for promises. They are asking for clarity, continuity and responsibility. I am sure Vision IAS will resolve this.

There are at least 500-700 people waiting outside for hours at the babai hotel, and every one of them is waiting for free snacks worth a maximum of 50-70 rs. Everyone look decent enough to afford snacks but still they are in line, don't know when will this cheap mentality leave them.

#WATCH | Speaking to ANI on India-US Trade Deal, on concerns of hill states about apples or tree nuts, Union Commerce Minister, Piyush Goyal says, "...We are not suppressing apples. The demand of apples is more than 25-26 lakh tons. We produce about 20-21 lakh tons. As we speak, we import 5.5 lakh tons of apples every year. A large quantity of that comes from the USA. We have not opened up apples. We have given them a quota on apples, which we will procure from there. That is less than the current imports of apples from the USA. Also, it's important to note, we have been very cautious in our opening up. Today, apple has a minimum import price of Rs 50 and there's a 50% duty which adds Rs 25. So Rs 75 is the base below which goods don't come into the country. So in some sense, that's the protection that the apple farmers also get that nobody can dump material and make it so cheap that apples don't get a fair value. But even in the quota we have given to the US, the minimum import price is Rs 80, there's a duty on that of Rs 20. So the landed price of that will be Rs 100. It's not in competition with our farmers..."

There are more countries like China and Iran from which we import apples. Himachal, Kashmir, and Uttarakhand produce apples well. We should not be importing apples at all. Even if we import, the duties must be higher, as Indian families depend solely on apple production... Adani has set up a system, and there is a lot of difference in their buying procedure. It is beneficial to the farmers... The packaging process of Adani and other huge players is advantageous to the farmers... The Adani set up is such that very few apples are damaged in the packaging and transportation, and prices are set based on colour, weight and size.
