This is great. Silky moustache maestro Des Lynam talks us through the final Premiership table of the exciting 2003-04 season. We then get a lovely montage of the champions with an iconic Barclays soundtrack. What an era.

This is golden this is. What a time period for football. I can remember my team #nufc game at Liverpool that day, Shola Ameobi scored for us and Michael Owen scored the equaliser, he left for Real Madrid after that and our 5th place finish was deemed a failure.

Hey guys!! I've been listening to this song lately and thought it would be fun to do a cover of it!! wdyt!? #lovesong #music #Jazz #CoverSong #Singing

This itv "crap" would probably look golden compared to today's rubbish

Premiership on ITV was always better than MOTD, better music better presenters, better commentators, best era of prem football. Just the adverts which let it down.

Man City in 16th good times

If you'd have told 18 years old me back then that 21 years later, we wouldn't have won another Premier League, I wouldn't have believed you.

Credited as 'Desmond Lynam'... unusual. Such a great track, Beautiful Day. Was a year old when The Premiership replaced MOTD and nearly 4 years old when this aired

De Lynam was right, we’ll never see this happen again. Proper Champions, unbeaten all season and not relying on Russian/UAE oil money, 115 cheating charges or PGMOL …

That was literally the end of an era for us Leeds fans and the start of a much more humbling one.

QPR fan from NW London surrounded by Gooners, in fairness that Arsenal team was legendary (Man Utd slightly edged it) but 2 great teams for sure
