Oh my goodness! This is humiliating! I am a boomer and so embarrassed for Canada. Someone should take them for a walk around the streets of Toronto and introduce them to reality in today's world.

We shouldn’t judge them. They have fallen victim to a dishonest media narrative that makes them think Canada is booming and Carney is doing a great job. The reality is far from that. But they probably have a secure retirement and still trust the news they see on TV. When these people knock on your door, use that as an opportunity to educate them on how many Canadians are using food banks. How many adults are living with their parents because the cost of housing is too high. How many violent, repeat offenders are being released onto our streets every day. How large our debt has grown and how much we are paying in interest. How many people are coming here with bogus asylum claims and abusing our social safety net. How many Jewish people in Canada are living in constant fear right now. Maybe that will help them understand that the better way forward is with the Conservatives, not the Liberals. It’s time to put the elbows down and try a new approach.
