Firstly, I found the photograph of Palestinian men and little boys having to watch the world cup whilst standing on the rubble of their home, very moving. Then to learn that Muhammad Al Wahidi, the generous gentleman who organised the large TV screens was killed by Israel only one hour before the match commenced. This is truly heartbreaking and maddening.

Just as a footnote, Egypt has NO BORDER with Gaza. Pissrael has an established no-go/killzone that buffers Gaza and Egypt. Pissrael has total control over any crossings, it's not Egypt refusing to open borders.
